What a week it was! We knew OU wasn't that good when they looked so sloppy against lowly Kansas and now they are proven frauds at home. Who would have thought Wisconsin would lose to Michigan State? I did, just like last year they started the season at home against a bunch of cupcakes, did not cover against UNLV on their opener and got exposed on the road.
Don't even get me started on Boise State. They have trouble winning against any team with a pulse. Enjoy beating UNLV by 60 next week because it will mean nothing. But Boise under the illusion that it has a chance in the NC game will keep running it up against the rest of the cupcakes and probably struggle against TCU.
Without further a due, here we go:
#1. Alabama
#2. LSU
Alabama's defense is lights out. Although I believe those two teams are 1-and-2, someone has to lose next week and depending on the margin of the loss, the loser shall be ranked #3-#5.
#3. Stanford
And yes, if they win out, they should and will play in the NC game. With OU and Wisky out of the picture and OU's loss indirectly hurting OSU's SOS, this is their time to shine.
#4. Oklahoma State
#5. Clemson
#6-7. Boise State / Oregon
#8. Arkansas
Oregon and Arkansas' one-loss to LSU and Alabama respectively look better and better. They can take over Boise in the rankings by the end of the season but their schedule is too strong to allow them to win out.
#9. Oklahoma
If Boise doesn't impress me, neither does OU. TT is high-octane but it's not like Tech was unbeaten. It's still close but I predict OU will leap Boise and Oregon (after Stanford gets done with them) and perhaps Arky.
#10. Kansas State
Considering: Houston

lol no man I like to come here and make fun of people that use such words as "Lock", "Play of the Week", "Vegas mistake on the line", "System", etc.
I liked Bama and kept it in my parlays. 3rd week in a row I win my 4-team parlay of the week and this time I also win my 5-teamer with the Over in Hawaii

Clemson is too high (not enough defense for the Tigers).
-We disagree on flip-flopping these too. Strength of schedule and quality of wins makes me lean Clemson. Oklahoma State's D isn't that supreme either. But this is college.
Oregon lost top 5 status when their all world RB went down....unfortunately. 7 or 8 is about right
-They seemed to have done well without him. They'll lose to Stanford but they still would have lost to Stanford even with James. They'll win the rest of the games as they would have, maybe not with that much ease.
A&M looks impressive! Worthy of # 10 status!
-Kansas State way better imo. A&M at the doorstep.
