I dont talk about Joe Pa because I dont know him and wasnt there when this stuff happen. Neither where you, so you dont know what you are talking about. Hard to argue with someone that doesnt have any facts to support their argument.

    Thats all.

I suggest that those of you that are still in denial read the following:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/19/sports/ncaafootball/penn-state-trustees-recall-decision-to-fire-paterno.html?pagewanted=all

“To me, it wasn’t about guilt or innocence in a legal sense,”
the trustee Kenneth C. Frazier, the chief executive at Merck, said of Paterno’s decision not to go to police. “It was about these norms of society that I’m talking about: that every adult has a responsibility for every other child in our community. And that we have a responsibility not to do the minimum, the legal requirement. We have a responsibility for ensuring that we can take every effort that’s within our power not only to prevent further harm to that child, but to every other child.”

JoePa himself said he should have done more.

The transcripts are there.   The facts are clear for those who want to see.

schultz, spanier, curley, should be charged...they lied to grand jury, are trying to benefit off joe paternos death (he was witness AGAINST them), and were in a position to help make things happen.

No you don't. You spend the majority of your time here on Covers. Writing in rainbows and making horrible wagers. You put jesus and famous black people in your avatars to create an air of empathy. But it is all a con job.

The majority of your posts are insensitive and racist, lacking empathy and common sense. I seriously doubt you have a family, much less children. More than likely you live with a demanding, strict mother who whacks your pee-pee a few times a day. God forbid she catch you wanking off to the new swimsuit edition. You are a phony.

A poor example of today's youth who just sits behind their screen and talks trash, without any idea what they are talking about. The only reason you post in all of the colors is you are an attention person. "Look at me"....."follow my recommendations"...."ignore me being down 900 units halfway through the season"...."love me because jesus is my avatar"..."I am a fair and honest keeper of black history because i have a famous person in my avatar".....no you are not. Your threads scream racism.  The latest example being the drug thread you started about Whitney. Full of stereotypes and racist attacks. Your whole anti JoePa rants reek of poor understanding of the disease process of CSA...you are a fool and a poorly educated idiot....

You see, it’s not about how often you masturbate but about how you’re living the rest of your life. As long as masturbation is a part of your life and not instead of your life, you’re fine. When masturbation becomes an escape from problems in your relationship, or it begins to affect your health, or turn into a substitute for real life experiences, then you should consider slowing down on your stroking and dealing with who and what’s around you.

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it".  i remember reading that quote from Lou Holtz on a calender 20 years ago.  IMO - Joe Pa's moral compass is most largely responsible for his legacy before the scandal.  It was his steady humility, wisdom, character and loyalty to Penn State and college football that always stood out to me and defined who he was as a man and a coach. I read the grand jury report; so i feel somewhat informed albeit i wasn't "there"; and my sad conclusion is that he "chose" to try to protect the image of Penn State at the expense of allowing Sandusky to prey on the innocent.  It won't change all the great things that Joe Pa did for a lot of people -  coaches, thousand plus players, tens of thousands of students, millions of fans, etc.  His handprint has and will continue to  positively affect kids all over the world.  He was human and he was guilty of a huge mistake.  In hindsight, I'm sure he wished he had done more, who wouldn't wish that?  I wish he would of gone old school gangster of Sandusky and had him hung up sicilian style.  At the end of the day everybody here is somewhat right - Patreno was a great man who did great - great things on this earth.  He also fucked up big.  I'll remember the great things he did and commit myself to doing more to protect the innocent from the lessons of his mistakes.

this is what you got?  just quote for me please from that article where joe paterno says "i could have prevented these kids from being raped" or something along those lines as you are suggesting it does.

this is a speculative essay written, an editorial.  the writer wrote the only negatives i have heard about joe, which have been out there for years.  he references two former employees, who may have been disgruntled like in any business as both were fired.  he uses Erickson who is a laughing stock for our university right now.

the funniest thing about it is when joe paterno threw the men he disliked out of his house, the same men who are charged with an actual crime.  he couldnt stand those guys, just like he couldnt stand sandusky.

espn and nancy grace brainwashed you when the story first broke, just like so much of the media on sports talk etc...many of whom have backtracked on joe or flat out now support him.

as long as you feel you can think for yourself, thats all i ask.
