K state all day in this one. U get the more rugged team that has shown they can play some defense with the better coach. Everyone was loving WV after beating Texas. we saw what Texas was last week. Outside of Texas what has WV done? They played closer than expected games against Baylor and Maryland at home. Fade city for me.

KState is the real deal , yes West Virginia will put up 70 pts on tomato cans but Texas Tech is not an elite team or even top 10 and they looked horrible... yeah yeah every dog has his day yada yada but they looked horrendous which is not that shocking if you didnt buy into the media hype and heisman talk... For those of you watching Kansas ST . QB Collin Klein is no slouch and played against a very good defense in Iowa St. on the road and was great again running for over 100 yds and three tds , he like Geno Smith can pass or run and should also be garnering Heisman trophy talk...West Virginia has no Defense and i think Kansas St should be favored by-2 and they get this win.

let me start by saying i am a big fan of W Virginia football, and a HUGE fan of Geno Smith and Tevon Austin...

having said that... you want money?  fade the fuck out of this team every game for the rest of the Big 12 schedule... this team is in over their heads against these Big 12 offenses... this is still a Big East team, and they are still out of their league trying to win in the Big 12, and you will see that the rest of the way...

part 2 of this advice... fade Tx A&M as they try to make their way through the SEC... both of these teams took a step up in competition, and both will experience some serious growing pains as this season plays out...

you fade both of these teams, you win money... period!

I want to comment to all those in this thread who are saying KSU "struggled" at Iowa State.... They played a very physical and hard hitting Cyclone team. ISU is very well coached and they have some play makers. That was a good road win for the Wildcats. If you want validation; watch ISU at Okie State.... They cover and have excellent chance for SU win....

gonna take this one step further, because i watched most of the ISU - K St game... not only did Kansas St NOT struggle... they dominated... go ask Iowa St if Kansas St struggled... i had no money on that game, but wanted to get one last good look at them before i put in my bet for this game... and yea, they look good!

problem is that people look at box scores and don't watch the games...

Tip of the day:  You need to see value before it is gone.  Kansas st has been under value since last year.  They were underdogs most of the game and won straight out the past 2 years.  When the value is gone, that is when the public starts to back Kansas St.

this is a huge load of horseshit!

    1) i've been on Kansas St about 4 times this year, including +15 against Oklahoma...

    2) how is the value gone, if they are still getting points against a fraudulent opponent?

value is value... simple as that... and Kansas St getting points against W Virginia is value...

If this same matchup was playing the first few weeks of College Football, I believe Kansas St +10 vs West Virginia.  What I'm saying the bookie has caught up.  Finally clowns like you starts eyeing Kansas St.   But if someone put a gun to my head and have to pick 1 team I would back Kansas St +3.

in their first 3 games against Big 12 competition (probably the 3rd, 5th and 6th best teams in the conference), they have given up 45, 49 and 63 points...

they gave up 63 points to Baylor (no, RG3 didn't return for that game) and 45 points to TEXAS... the Longhorns' offense is fucking pathetic...

Kansas State has a much more efficient offense than either of those teams, or Texas Tech for that matter... can W Virginia stop Kansas State's offense?  i expect they will get a couple of stops... but since the TT for Kansas St will be around 34.5 (based on the current line), that's gonna be one of the best bets you will see this college football season... would be pretty surprised if K St doesn't put up at least as many as Texas did...

and i'm saying... (1) the value is not gone, since Kansas St is not the favorite in this game... and (2) the public is not backing W Virginia, according to percentages i've seen...

so both of your theories are shot to shit... and in response to the "clowns like you" remark... i bet Kansas St (+4.5) within seconds of this line being released... within minutes of this line being released, it had moved to K St (+3) -115...

you're both sitting here spewing shit about value, and yet you're clearly missing the boat on this one... the fact that so few people are on this one, just confirms that your theories are out of whack... most people are looking at the Iowa St game and shying away from K St, when in fact, Iowa St can beat W Virginia... Iowa St knocked off Okla St last year (the 2nd best team in the country), and came into last week's game with the same intention of ruining K State's season... but K St handled it and stayed unbeaten...

    63
    45
    49

    ?

let's remember... the 63 was a home game against Baylor... so don't make the mistake of thinking their defense shows up to play at home... they have no defense...

    k st. gals & gents

    to multiple in their attack!

    by far better defense

coaching could be a push? but does holgerson coach a defense...i think not! advantage cats...no doubt!

value is with wildcats..control the line of scrimmage, control the game...who you think wins the turn over battle? you already know...if the neers upset that stat.  than i think they can win with extra possesions, and a quick strike offense!   but they lost against a good red raider defense, and i dont see much diffrence with a quality k-st. defense, homefield is more of a edge on the ncaa level, but a ball control option game that the cats run needs to be stopped first! do you see that happening?...quite simple!

either way best of luck to all!!

Kansas State's offensive efficiency is top 3 or 4 in the nation... they WILL absolutely control the ball... ALL... GAME... LONG!  i fucking assure you that WILL happen... they will move the ball down the field, methodically, like NOTHING WEST VIRGINIA HAS EVER SEEN IN THEIR LIVES!

those of you who think this is a spot play should seriously stop betting on college football... you couldn't be more clueless...

Not comparing WV to Mizzou (not even close offensively, but much better defensively), but this game sets up a lot like Bama vs MU. The game will be won in the trenches. WV is finesse. They dont like to be punched in the face. Bill Snyders squads always punch you in the face and then run over you. I dont think the WV defense will be able to hang in this game. KSU will have long, sustained drives. WV, when they do score, will do so quickly. The WV defense in the second half will be getting gashed for 6+ yards per run.....Its going to happen. Fact.

Kansas St is definitely going over 50 points in this game... if you're a WV fan... turn the channel and start drinking... this gets FUGLY!

notice to those who didn't pay attention:  this is a fucking mismatch!  play this game 10 times... Kansas St wins 10 times... period!  these two teams are on different levels, and those of you who bought into this horseshit WV team just learned that the hard way...

soooooo... now that this game is a completely embarrassing blowout... given the facts that (a) i bet this line at +4.5 the moment it opened... (b) Kansas St was the better team getting points... (c) until RIGHT NOW, nobody knew JUST HOW BAD West Virginia really is, or JUST HOW GOOD Kansas St really is...

would you say that i was, in making this wager (my largest of the season) on Kansas St... that i was "seeing value before it's gone"... ?

just asking since you are clearly the authority on "value," "sharps" and the "public"...
