What a great last week it was! Went to Kent and watched my Chippewas cash the ticket and picking up 7 other games without a loss doesn't get much better. On to Week 9, here's a few to start with more additions coming up until Saturday afternoon. Good Luck this week gentleman..
The Chalk:
Kansas Jayhawks -18.5
Love the big man Mangino to roll over the sad Cornhuskers today. Jays have cashed 10 of the last 11 ATS and 17 of 22 ATS at home. Jays starting QB Reesing with a 17/4 ratio and approaching 2000 yards on the season. Just take a look at the Covers trends page and you'll be in amazement at Kansas just like I was.
KAN 41
NEB 17
Central Florida -13.5
Missed the boat on this squad the past two weeks and won't make the same mistake again this week. Sure, Marshall got their first win of the sorry Owls last week, but now they head on road to take test themselves against the strong RB in Kevin Smith who put up 175 last week on 43 attempts and 2 TD's. The Golden Knights have won the last 2 SU in the series and 3-0 ATS. Marshall have covered just 2 -10-1 their last 13 as a road dog and I look for a blowout in the sunshine state this afternoon.
CFU 34
MRS 10
Brigham Young Cougars -21
With last week's game on hold, the Cougs have an extra week to prep for the Rams who have covered just 2 of their last 12. BYU's O is still strong without Beck and this year Max Hall is already over 2000 yards and 14 TD's. CSU's run D is 107th in the nation so with the pass and run being effective for the Cougs, it could be a long day for the Ram D. BYU has won both SU and ATS the last 3 in the series.
BYU 49
CSU 13
Toledo Rockets -7 (-120)
It took a while but the other waist size 56 coach in the NCAA is on a two game win streak. Putting up 70 last week the Rockets play host to EMU who beat the Rockets by 4 last season. Toledo put up a school record 821 total yards last week and I'll look for the offensive momentum to continue at the Glass Bowl tonight. Toledo is 13-4 ATS their last 17 after putting up 40 in the previous game.
TOL 35
EMU 24
Clemson Tigers -16
I just can't find any trends here to back the hometeam other than the large homedog in Duke. Clemson has won back to back SU and ATS, and have coverered 5 of 7 ATS against a team with a losing record. The Duke defense has let opponents put up almost a 1000 yards of total O the past 2 weeks, and with Clemson blowing opponents out I see another one yet today. Spiller and Davis putting up over 500 yards on the ground the last two weeks and another couple hundy should be put up today. Duke 0-8 ATS at home against team with a winning road record and 1-7 as a dog of 10.5 or less. Clemson huge.
CLEM 37
DUKE 14
South Florida Bulls -5
Not a huge fan of backing the Bulls of back to back losses, however at home its hard not to. USF has now covered 8 in a row at home and look for revenge from last year's near 20 pt loss. USF 5-0 ATS last 5 as a home chalk and I'll ride them today. Cincy has covered the last 3 in the series, however lost by 2 TD's in their last trip down south. I'll look for Grothe to bounce back and get the home win today.

Nebraska wont win, but they will stay within the number.
Wouldn't say that, Keller is out for the rest of the season after that game in Texas. Joe Ganz will be starting and as far as I can remember he's never started a game once. After last week though as 21 pt road dogs who knows what will happen. We'll see! GL!
