5th play is:
Akron +5 for 20 units... The casual bettor will most likely just pass right by this game thinking i'm not wagering on that crap shoot. What I see is much value to be had in this game as these 2 teams are less than 12 miles from each other and this is a very big game for both schools every season. The players involved in this upcoming game want to beat theit opposing rival school very bad. There are many solid quotes that tell you that Akron is more than ready to give it there all this week vs Kent St. There hasn't been much to get excited about in the past 2 season's for Akron but after reading all these quote's you wouldn't think this was a 1-8 football team getting ready to play this week. Clayton Moore was quoted this week as he said "We're ready, I can tell you that," Akron QB Clayton Moore says of Saturday's game against arch-rival Kent State. "Intensity is not going to be a problem." There was many other quotes from coaches and other players stating how bad they want to win this game this week and when I look at the previous years history in this series the underdog has covered in 5 straight games with 3 outright victory's. I'll gladly snag the point's here in a rival match up where point's will be hard to come by. Also it should be noted that the Akron offense has out gained the Kent st offense up to this point in the season...

6th play is:
Louisiana Tech ML -128 for 40 units... Ole Miss hasn't been anyone to fear since their Jevon Sneed & Dexter McCluster day's. As a matter of fact since Sneed & McCluster's departure this Ole Miss squad has a mere 6 win's in their past 2 season. Those wins have come against (last years wins) Tulane, Fresno st, Kentucky & UL-Lafayette (This years wins) Southern Illinois & Fresno St. Not a very promissing resume of wins over the past couple of season. Sure Ole Miss compete's in the very tough SEC conference but they have just 1 win in SEC play in these past 2 seasons as last year their SEC losses lost by an average of 16.3ppg and this year that number has gotten even worse as they have yet to win a game in the SEC losing are their games by an average of 20.3ppg. Watch out this week as La Tech is a team that should not be looked over just because they are on the road against an SEC team. So far this year the Bulldog's have been on 5 road trips cashing in on anyone who had a ticket backing them on every occasion as they went 5-0ats in that span winning 3 in that span while losing a tight overtime game to Miss st 20-26 and losing a 2pt game to Southern Miss 17-19 on a late FG. This Lousiana Tech team should not be taken lightly at all and since Colby Cameron has taken over @ QB their offense looks even better than it was with Nick Isham. It doesn't matter who starts @ QB for me this week though as long as Lennon Creer is my RB and Quinton Patton is running wild on defenses out their @ WR I'll take my chances against a team that has just been notified earlier this week that their head coach Houston Nutt will be stepping down after the year finishes up. Looks like we can continue to fade the Rebel's again this week as nothing seems to point in their favor at all for this one. I'm going to take those 40 units I banked off of the Va Tech win the other night and lay them on La Tech to come into Ole Miss and come out with what will be in their heads a big win, as beating any team from the SEC would be worthy of a reason to get up and give it their all. Texas @Missouri under 58.5 for 20 units... Mizzo has proved to be a suitable run stopper this season (Texs strong point is the running game) as they have allowed less than 150 yards per game. And that Texas offense isn't scaring anybody this season ranked 91st in the nation. It was rather interesting to go back and see why 6 of the 9 games Mizzo has played went over the total. What I noticed was that 4 of those games were played against passing team's ranked better than 20th in the nation. Those teams and passing ranks were Baylor (#5), Oklahoma (#3), Texas A&M (#12) & Arizona St (#19). The other 2 games were against inferior opponent's in Ioaw St in which Mizzo dropped 52 pts on and the other was against Western Carolina whom they dropped 69pts on. Texas and their defense should be able to keep this a close game but they won't be scoring many point's with that struggling defense that has failed to find a leader @ QB all season. Both of these teams are no slouch to playing good defense Mizzo has just been the product of playing some of teh best passing talent the nation has to offer. I really like this game to stay under the total...
