Hey All.... Can someone in the know tell me the difference is between what the NCAA is doing with the '6-week plan' this year vs how it would have worked normally?...
I get there will be differences program to program how they go about it but want to know are more weeks of workouts or practice being added in summer / preseason time now that most missed spring or is the lead up more/less the same?
These were the draft plan lead in phases which actually cover 3 months ... Is this more/less all the same or is it beefed up somewhere?

Also there are a couple (FREE!!!) guides available on Wagertalk right now, one that includes how many spring practices each team got in ... ***This is not a promo of the site or guy who does the guides or trying to take clicks away from covers, etc etc***
If interested check out the WT site, find ralph michaels on the front page and click for the 2020 guide I think you'll need to make an account but there's a Spring, Starters and Transfers guides available in PDF download...
Couple teams who got a decent number of spring practices in:
Coastal Caro - 15 - Had my eye on them already!!! Appy - 11 - Bama is to Pac-12 is Appy is to Fun Belt... Houston - 8 - Eyes of Me are upon you!!! N'Western - 8 - Great news!!!
A few other notables: UConn - 15 Air Force - 13 CMU - 10 Buff - 9 Clem - 9 W.Mich - 8 Purdue - 8

Yeah Uni wasn't a complete list up above.... I had 'Ville at 7 from the guide.. Good deal for them because they're at a crossroads of next step or tanking if they can't break out of a boom or bust offense and need to get all around better on D...
A few teams I'd keep an eye on with a new HC and no spring practice that nobody would have otherwise expected too much from this year....Risk being how patient would anyone be before 2020 becomes the spring 2021 tryout?.... I'd bet there's a lot more teams than usual in the 'mulligan year' bucket risk category for 2020 but here's a few obvi candidates ...
Mich. St - 0 Spring - Mel coulda used a solid spring... Ret production rk 117...
Colorado - 0 Spr - Ret prod rk 115... ahhh
UNLV - 0 Spr - Best recruiting class in history came in with 24 or so 3-star players who want to play in the new stadium .. how many losses until coach starts planning for the future? - Ret.Pro rk 99..
Miss St - 0 Spr - Leach has said previously that he really does alot of his leg work in the spring compared to other programs (per him) .. So clearly the cadence of his plans messed up especially when he needed to identify players that are going to fit into his scheme rather than the old... K.Hill sits out and you can bet he's calling it a year early on...
Fres St. - 0 Spr - Ret prod 94 ... '19 rec class #87 not bad.. how long till we see a bunch of RS freshman?.. OC from the '18 awesome year is now the coach so maybe his youngsters from back then still on the roster are a good fit this year?...
