DRIVER SEAT .. Fernando wins the champ game and he wins the heisman easy .. like eaaaaasy ..

Beyond Fernando this gets real iffy but here's a guess as to who holds the cards and the keys and a guess as to which order they might fall in .. 

CO-PILOT .. Pavia being easily the biggest name and human highlight reel and best most fun story and player in CFB might actually be in the driver seat if Vandy sweeps the remaining schedule and DP pitches 2 heisman worthy games vs Kentucky and @Tennessee en route to a playoff selection .. There's a reason he's back down to 10-1 when he has no champ game to play in .. and that reason is obvious .. #DIEGO-ESTA-MI-NEGRO .. 

Beyond that its super duper iffy .. 

NEXT UP .. Julian Sayin just romps RUTGERS, MICH and INDY in the B10 champ game .. he's in no uncertain terms playing BURROW BALL this year just as good as it gets.. BUT ... frankly nobody knows Julian Sayin LOL!!! ....  OSU just beating everyone so bad never really created a heisman moment or much interest on this guy in any H2 of any game ... maybe vs Texas however nobody even knew his name then lol .. he is 100% the best QB in CFB, best performance this year by far .. but .. Heisman's have to be foraged thru the crucible of CFB .. you don't get diamonds without any pressure and Sayin has been under exactly ZERO PSI this year .. There's a Zillion highlights I'm sure but I can't recall a particular great play he made .. I don't even know what he looks like .. and neither do you!!! .. that realllly helps Diego's chances because if it was Sayin's 2nd year starting or if it was Dante Moore or Carson Loser who were sweepin their conf under the rug like OSU has they'd be easily the shoe in and it would come down to them or Mendoza IMO .. 

WILDCARD .. Jer Smith .. 3 massive games to end the season needed .. I don't care if his cumulative stats aren't there allll the way because again right now is when Heisman's are made .. He's the best player in CFB and all the talking heads agreed on this pre-ssn .. AND .. it would be just ohhh-soooo very easy to prove themselves right about that should J-SMITH drop an A-BOMB OF PURE ELECTRICITY down the stretch and it can def happen .. Especially if they BOMB Michigan to take that series back in a big way and of course the B10 champ game gunna be MAX HYPED UP this year w OSU / INDY .. announcers can basically call it live on air if he shows up unstoppable ... Obvi that means Sayin will also be in the mix but the clincher for this is that J-SMITH is 'THAT DUDE' and everyone knows it .. while J-SAY for right now really is 'Just a Dude' .. Calling him 4th because lot gotta happen but frankly he miiiight be able to best Pavia going Heisman in the last 2 games if we see a legit string of PURE HARDWARE performances .. 

WILDCARD .. Haynes King .. Holy smokes I mean besides Pavia there is just NOBODY that deserves to attend the Heisman more than this dude .. 30-1 he's gotta beat Pitt, Beat UGA, win the ACC .. and obvi be the guy doing everything as he has all year .. Seems like the parlay to check all those boxes and hit the requirements to make the trip is closer to 50 or 75-1 because just any slip up and he's out .. but yeah holy smokes he'll be a tough out I'd say Fernando beating OSU would be his only road block .. so yeah add that box to check too ..

SEASON WINS RECAP

8-5 so far ...  projection 11-7 .. 61% is def lower than we expected and certainly lower than we're used to .. Alas 13-5 feels like insanely lucky .. 12-6 feels like we need to get kinda lucky and I'd be very happy closing it out there with 66% .. 

2 LEAN WIN .. UAB should wrap up this weekend .. ARMY amazingly still kinda has a hail mary shot .. but we saw this coming with the spot @UTSA next week which is a revenge game on the road and one UTSA will need for a bowl game .. fully expect to get it done there .. hard to predict Army / Navy but I like our chances there too .. 

1 LEAN LOSS ..  FRIGGIN MARSHALL.. the pre-ssn read on the Sun Belt was the entire conf was set up to staaank with VERY low ret pro on so many teams and I think the lesson here is when you know the conf stinks just stay out of the 'Under' plays .. Coastal is another DOG CRAP team that sorta reinvented itself this year on the backs of this Crap Conference .. BIG contenders like Texas State and ULL turned out to be SUPER TRASH .. we even had Marsh lose to friggin Mizzouri State and still might lose this before the finale .. The saving grace here maybe that App State, while they surrendered to JMU last week taking it up the KEESTER for a full 60 mins .. This is a rivalry game at home and I'm not at all convinced Marsh should even be favored .. Old dom nice win but not convinced these guys are anything better than lucky to be in this 'make a bowl' spot .. Possible Marsh loses last two but yeah it feels like a couple coin flips and were like 25% at best to flip this one .. sheesh .. 

2 TOSSUPS .. TENN .. Really depends how Florida shows up and if they can make a game of it here .. they should .. big rivalry .. at home .. but man o man just a down n out team .. I think Tenn is favored vs the gators and should be at home vs Vandy but I still kinda slight lean that one of those teams step up .. one things for sure .. Vandy's commin .. MIZZOU .. @OU feels like a lock loss ..I would just note that this Mizzoo squad is showing up to this old B12 rivalry .. the tough part is the QB is still green but he's def an up n coming gamer .. Hardy w 300 yds last game .. we might him to jump back into the Heisman race with another 3 Balloon day .. prob is nobody's had a good day running vs the sooners and feels like Mizz will need to win like 9-6 or something .. hard to imagine .. - Finale @Arkansas is no sure thing Razorbacks are on a straight up WIN HUNTING MISSION and they'll carry that mojo into the finale .. I know this is a "rivalry" sorta but frankly I could see Mizzoo blow the rest of their load vs OU and the B2B road spot ends up being a killer .. We loved this team this yr but had major probs from the jump w the backup QB being injured week 1 along with their SUPER ACE SNIPER Kicker .. their current kicker was very iffy early on and we knew this team would be in some close ones this yr .. Pribula was a disappointment in his big games .. Hardy's stats were also in the big critical games .. I think its close to 50/50 very outside shot to beat OU and maybe favored vs Ark by a FG but my sense is it'll be a true tossup .. siiiiigh ..

Welp good luck buddy most fun thing in CFB is a live future ticket when we get to this time of year .. yeah such an up n down and windy road .. I had Pitt marked as a sure thing loser long ago, even the win total I was thinking we lost after they tanked that Louisville game .. Up 17-zip and blew it .. changed QB's on us .. welp .. turned out to be a pretty good change lol .. 

I had GT on my radar real early like maybe everyone did like idk 14-1 or so .. I only took long shots in the ACC thinking the hedge I'll be putting down when they end up playing Clem or Miami would be so pricey it wouldn't make much sense to take any team in the teens .. could be showing up laying 3 TD's to the champ game .. but alas .. here we are .. and think extensive debate could be had about who the most 'seat of your pants' just finding a way to win team has been this year and UVA certainly is one of those and findings ways on offense and on D to pull things off .. but GT like holy smokes .. I think far and away the most wild and its so fun because its all King .. TOTAL DUDE KING .. Rootin for my tickets to come thru but if its just not meant to be then I'll def grab some popcorn and be rootin for the JACKETS with ya ..

Had Wazzo to pound a horrible Oregon St team and they shit the bed. Ole Miss and Virginia may have taken them lightly in between tough conference games but JMU is playing to reach the No. 12 seed in the College Football Playoffs and will want to take Wazzo behind the woodshed. It's a stay away for me or jump on the JMU bandwagon

Yeah that is certainly one potential outcome for this game no matter how dialed in the coogs are JMU is playing a very high level brand of FB right now and I could see the coogs at some pt in the game realize its not happening and pull the plug late in the game and oblige JMU to run it up .. 

I still see this as a tricky spot for JMU with multiple BIG..BIIIIG game ass wippings in a row.. recall 2 years ago App busted their perfect season with gameday on hand @JMU, clearly JMU is not over it lol .. 60 mins full throttle MAX EFFORT..  pre-ssn this felt like a potential tough spot for JMU with Wash State noncon coming in late season, a conf sandwich vs a team they aren't familiar with and think Coogs are much diff since early slate when they were figuring things out .. I was disappointed with them vs Oreg State but on the road Beav Stadium after just an unreal tough slate of travel and tough opponents, 3 big efforts in a row .. Beavs no doubt came into that one playing their very best and while they can tank games badly we've also seen them at least able to tangle up with a team like Houston at home, catching those other Coogs in a pretty iffy spot for them .. 

Hard to imagine wash state mails this in considering the coaches and roster is stacked with former SDSU Jackrabbits who are used to being the top dogs in their league .. I find it hard to believe they are all pussing out of this game in favor of prepping for Oreg State and trying to ensure they make the Cocomelon Bowl when they have a G5 Superbowl sitting in front of them and if they're zeroed in on this one as expected its just a matter of how competitive they can be here .. wouldn't count out a surprise upset if they catch JMU in a little bit of an off week and just make fewer big mistakes go +2 in turnovers or some other big breaks go their way .. not unimaginable to me but yeah JMU shows up plays lights out they'll be hard to stop .. good luck!

I had New Mexico last week -14 at home .. they jumped out to a 10 pt lead early, gave it up .. went up 10 again and didn't close strong .. drives went 5 Punts, 4 Fumbles, 1 Downs, 2 FG's, 2 TD's .. Held Colo State to net 13 yds rushing which includes 4 sacks .. coulda shoulda won by 4 TD's or more .. 

Expected Colo State's QB Brousseau to play .. guy staaanks .. went 8/12 for 38 yds .. put in their 3rd QB Darius Curry .. 26/34 250 .. 2 TD's 3 picks .. Was like soooo seat of your pants making plays but did just enough to hang around .. 

Boise is obvi out of the playoff resume mode but .... this is first meeting since '23 when Rams had that most INSANE comeback hail mary win .. so playoffs or none this is both a must win and a KILL THEM spot .. and playin in Boise .. it feels like they prob should .. 

NM's run D is pretty solid .. would check Boise's run D and pass D .. they don't need to be SDSU to shut the Rams down but can't let Co State keep finding little ways to keep drives alive .. 

Boise Pass D .. can they sack this guy and not let him seat of yer pants go pick up first downs .. 

Boise offense .. make sure their best guys are playing, their good RB Reilly for sure .. need him to go HAM once again .. better check colo state's run D .. I'm sure its terrible .. 

Boise's new QB .. I mean holy smokes was Maddox Madsen worth 30 points to them ?.. this guy stinks .. but .. off the bench vs Fresno their D is I think not terrible and expected them to be improving with the NDSU coaches from whatever they were doing early in the year .. SDSU's D is STRAIGHT UP NASSTAAAY .. No surprise he stunk there .. they limited the passing on purpose but he did hit 8/12 for over 100 yds .. 3 weeks of practice and 2 games we should see something not totally horrible vs the RAMS .. I'd think .. 

Not laying the points right now .. let's see Colo State come up with their best stuff on their first drive they have to be 'believing' at the very least and should have a couple good plays to start the game with .. maybe .. an early score would prob feel like 'here we go again' and maybe that line drops very quick in the algos? .. can we get this 9.5 if Rams score first .. maybe 6.5 if they get Boise stopped? .. unclear to me if Boise can realllly route this team or not but if they can they should prob cover that number .. I'd rather see if we can get the smaller number .. just bank on Boise being able to pull off at least a smaller win with the rams QB i kinda feel like they're likely to make mistakes with a braaand new QB on the road and the team is overall just dog crap .. needed NM to fumble 5 times and lose 4 of em .. TO on downs for 5 turnovers .. and NM still had chances to cover the number in game .. yeah .. DEF NOT BETTING ON THE RAMS LOL!!!

SMU -3.5 (FAN)

Spot lined up with SMU being in a must win to keep their repeat shot to make the ACC champ game alive .. Ville's hopes prob died when they lost at home to Cal in OT but got buried last week with another home loss to Clemson 20-19..  all out slug fest .. Clem still trying .. welp .. now going on the road, SMU will be pretty lively I'd imagine and Ponies are all systems go coming off a bye week .. can at least trust Coach Lashlee to come up with something on offense and playing somewhat scrappy on D this year .. Louisville no shot for conf but do have their big year end rivalry vs Kentucky on deck .. Birds took the series back first time in 5 years and I'll just go ahead and say that the Battle of the Bluegrass is just so much more important than whatever happens this week .. Coach Brohm is also a 'Portal King' coach and it would just kinda make sense that they aren't just looking ahead to next week .. wasn't positive how 'Downy' this 'Down Spot' would likely be but we've heard the 2 KILLER RB's are gunna be out and now looks like Miller Moss is questionable and would kinda make sense if the auto pens are running full throttle right now filling out doctors' notes for players in this game ..  I'll say the Ville situation for this game already seems tenuous and if Moss is out then think Brohm is just giving the steal sign and ready to serve this one on a silver platter in Dallas .. 

Seeing bunch of -4's now and would suggest getting the best number you can .. I hit this early week for -2.5's and -3 for even odds .. the recent news feels like we keep stabbing and I'd prob take it -4 if that was my offer if Moss is out I'd expect we're 6.5 and pending markets to make it a full TD .. but yeah even if he's in this feels like its still a MAJOR DEFLATOR spot for Ville on the road for a relatively meaningless game now with a massive super rival on deck .. I mean if SMU can't handle this situation then it might be worth just issuing themselves 'death penalty' and closing the football program only shut it down indefinitely lol ..

 Hey man - I used your advice from back in August to build a 10 team Season Win Total Over parlay that just hit today with Tulsa getting to 4+.  I took Alt Lines on Win totals, but wanted to say a very sincere THANK YOU, as I made 6+ units on that parlay just now.  I am mostly an NHL bettor, and am in a f#cking slump last 3 days, so that was a huge boost to my bankroll.  Again, thank you.

Appreciate all the work you put into capping NCAAF - big fan of your work.  Keep it up Bridge.

 Yes sir….Omg goodness army…. They even received the Tulsa on side kick…. Recovered that…. And still lost…. That loss crushed a 9 team teaser for me… I had army -1.5… forgot I had them in there.   Of course my only loss… 30 bucks for 300+…..…   Rarely when you recover the onside kick… run a few plays in opponent territory… do you lose outright…. Army managed that ….. yes I had -10 as well….       And in my teaser… I’m down on army football for the moment….    ???? course if memory serves… didn’t they lose to tarelton st at home around game 2 or 3 this season.     I had to do a double take on that one as well….7-8 weeks ago.

I tuned out hoping they'd hang onto that cover .. biggest game ending meltdown I've ever seen .. glad they went ahead and lost while they were at it .. hit a fun one w Tulsa over 3.5 wins and closed out Army U7.5 idk how that was still even technically alive but .. maaaan yeah shoulda been easy 2-0 Bridge Plays but aint nothin easy ever so .. glad you hit on the others bud ..

 Think we worked that scenario out in our heads .. Pick 6, punt block TD, Pick 6 .. 21-zip offense finally comes out half the quarter gone  .. 2 play 60 yd TD .. 3 play 70 yd TD .. Q1 ENDS 35-ZIP ND ball on the 1 yd line .. THE MOST DOMINANT 15 MINS and 1 second of football in history perhaps .. and didn't stop there mid Q2 up 49-zip .. Cuse with the last second TD 77-7 final lol ... man o man .. WHAT AN EPIC CAN!!!
