tOSU (THE Ohio State Univ. according to Eddie George and most other tOSU alums) has a grand total of 7 regular season wins vs SEC teams (not counting Mizzou and TAMU prior to joining the Conference).  6 of those wins came against Vandy and KY PRIOR To WWII.

Funny, you left off how many losses were pre WWII too.  As a matter of fact, they haven't played much since WWII.  The whole stat is worthless and misleading

Well...I agree with all this BS on the Pickskin..a lot of bottom feeders in the Big10...but Big10 is the best overall conference in Hoops....FWIW...my Badgers disappointed in loss to PSU that would have led to a BCS game and they get a third tier bowl and have to play Mizzou-Auburn loser....woof...that said...PAC10 pretty good this year too...although the botteo feeders exist there too....

Because games in 1978 have such a bearing on how a team performs today   Get this meaningless crap out of here dipshit.  They should rename the SEC to the No Defense Conference

    21-0 hahahahaa

    Do people actually watch games?

Anyone that actually watched this OSU team against Michigan knew they weren't very good.

Middle of the pack team in the SEC

I Love all these people that try to downplay the SEC and year in and year out they get proven wrong and made to look like fools.

    LSU would smash OSU

Having Ohio state in the national championship would be a absolute joke.,...............I don't care how many games in a row they have won.

Ohio states running game would be stuffed against SEC teams and there D would get exposed (Did you see how badly Michigan torched them?)

As would Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Vandy, Tennessee, Miss. State and Arkansas, they may squeak by Florida and Kentucky..

There are some great defenses in the SEC. Yeah right. Was the championship a 7 on 7 drill today. I think osu would be fine in the SEC.

    Who was 21-0

OSU is winning now, kind of like Auburn was winning after they were losing to Mizzu.  So you can get off your SEC high horse.

SEC has no business complaining about who plays in the National Championship.  Once they get their own games under 100 point total per game and get themselves some defense, they can enter the discussion.

101 points scored in their Conf "Championship" game.  What an embarrassment.

I wonder how Auburn would fair vs this Michigan State defense. I promise you it would not be pretty and SEC fans would not be chirping. Auburn may look great against a HORRID defense but put them up against a real D and I doubt anybody would be talking.

I didn't hear any criticisms of Mizzou's D until after this game

They actually hadn't given up 30pts to any one single opponent this season until today

They get torched by a crazy dynamic O in Auburn (who also scored on ALABAMA) and all the sudden SEC cant play defence?

People can take snipes at the SEC like they always do but AGAIN they have a team in the national championship game.

I actually hope OSU and Alabama somehow matchup. Alabama would prolly win that game by 20+ points.

Point of this thread was OSU was badly overrated and boom, what do you know they lose by 10 points against MSU.

I wonder what the excuses will be after Auburn takes down F State.

Every year jealous fans of other conferences say "SEC is overrated", "SEC cant play O", "SEC cant play D" but somehow every year they have the best team and the most teams inside the top 25.

I agree with a lot of what you say and disagree with a lot. I believe OSU is very overrated. I also think Bama will crush them. However, I also think Auburn is a bit overrated as well and FSU will destroy them. I know you may have a hard time hearing this but it's true....the SEC does not play Def ( except Bama). Look at the scores. It is not because of prolific offenses, it is TERRIBLE defenses.
Clearly the two best teams in the country are FSU and Bama. So with that said, I am good with the SEC. They are just sending the wrong team.
Also, I think Stanford would kick Auburn's a$$ as well. It's all here nor there. It will be AU vs FSU and this game will be over buy 3rd qtr (being generous) and FSU will roll.
The good thing is we don't have to hear SEC fans wine about OSU (even tho I agree).

Like I said....the SEC is just sending the wrong team and that will be PAINFULLY obvious. Bama would have a shot. Auburn, sorry...it will be ugly!

Buy the way...I HATE THE BUCKEYES !!!

Why wouldn't I be trumping the SEC? They have been by FAR the best conference the past what 7-8 years?

Little trolls like you always come out around this every year and find reasons to bash the SEC.

But every year the SEC racks up the money and the covers in bowl season and prove little fudgepackers like yourself to look like total idiots.

I don't care. Doubt the SEC all you want but they will again this year show why they are the best conference and steamroll the bowl games.

    Pac 12 is weak garbage

Stanford would get run over by Auburn.

Why are Auburn getting so much flack?

    Just like Alabama did right?

Alabama is better at every position by miles compared to Stanford.

LOL at you trusting the Pac whatever. Have you watched football the past 5 or so years?

That conference is a total mirage.

I watch plenty of football. The difference is I watch football in all conferences. I'm not stuck watching just 1 conference. I watch it all. You should step outside your county once in a while.
