1*Prairie View A&M/Lehigh Under 142.5
This number opened at 146.5 and is all the way down to 140.5 at some books. All the information I see, says the over is getting absolutely hammered. Out of nearly 15k bets, 89% of the money and 88% of the money is on the over. Prairie View wants to run, Lehigh does not. PVAM hasn't played in a game over this number since Feb. Their offense isn't good enough, and they don't shoot any 3s. Lehighs offense sucks too. In a foreign gym, with these stakes? This game is getting played in the 60s.
1* Navy Midshipmen +12.5
Navy has to feel that they should be playing in the big boy tournament, and have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Not to mention, the service academy vs P5 stigma that will be around this game. Navy shoots 3s extremely well, they spread the floor, and share the ball. They do the fundamental things, exactly what you'd expect from a service academy. Wake Forest is in the situation of, who the hell is gonna play tonight, and how much will they care? Is Juke Harris leaving? Probably. WIll anyone be at this game? Probably not. A bakers dozen is way tooo many for me to pass up here.
1* Kent St Golden Flashes +6.5
Illinois St hasn't played in nearly two weeks. The MVC is one of the first tournaments to finish, and they were bounced on the first day. I find motivation to be a hard thing to find in Normal, IL right now. Kent St. didn't so much have Big Dance dreams, at least realistically, so I think Rob Senderoff, who has played in this tournament many times, has his guys ready to play in this tournament. They start three seniors, one that isn't going to be playing basketball anymore after this year is over. They can keep this within this number, and win this game.
1* Bradley Braves +1.5
Dayton has to feel like they let the big one get away, by getting to the title game after their great end of the year run, but coming up just short to VCU. Now they have to TRAVEL to play a first round NIT game (due to the First Four being played on their home floor). Not to mention, going to a place that is made for the NIT tournament. They have the third most appearances all time in this tournament. The folks of Peoria, IL love their basketball, and they will be there tonight. Very little motivation for the Flyers, very good home court for Braves.
1* Miami OH Redhawks +7.5
It's time. They get their shot vs a P5 school. And they can't fuck this up, or then all the naysayers were right about their perfect regular season. They indeed didn't play anyone, and if they get run off the floor tonight, that's back to back losses. If the Redhawks want to win this game, they will have to spread everyone out and make some 3s, which they are more than capable for doing.
1* Murray St/Nevada Under 161.5
Sure the Racers want to run, but they won't be able to vs this Wolfpack team. Super athletic, very good at protecting the rim, and defending in transition. Steve Alford has been around the game for along time. He knows how to take away what teams what to do. I've got this game in the 70s.
