1* Texas Longhorns +1.5
NC State has revenge here oddly enough, they met back in Maui where Texas won in a great game 102-97. But I think Texas is better now, than they were in November, and the opposite for the Wolfpack. Both have struggled tremendously down the stretch. Texas, losers in 5 of their last 6. State, losers in 7 of the last 9. Sean Miller is the more tested coach certainly, but Will Wade has proven he can win in March. Just last year, he upset Clemson while at McNeese. The difference for me is, Matas Vokietaitis. Only two players in the country get the foul line more than this man. He alone, draws over 8 fouls game. The bigs for the Wolfpack have their hands full, and that's a problem, because they don't run deep in the post. Allen Lubin can't handle what Vokietatis is about to bring to the table.
1* Wyoming/Wichita St Under 147.5
This is a play on Wichita Sts defense vs Wyomings offense. Wyoming gets up a lot of 3s in a game, although they don't shoot it very well. The Shockers have the 37th best 3pt% defense in the whole country, and are 31st in 3PA/FGA. So they force you to their interior where, 7'2 Will Berg and 6'10 Emmanuel Okorafor await, and they are 40th in the country in 2pt%. These are good things for Wichita St, cause outside of Kenyon Giles, their offense lacks firepower. South Florida just put the clamps on the Giles in the conference tourney, holding him to 5 points, and the rest of the Shocker offense scored 50. I also expect Giles to enter the portal after the year he had, so not sure his motivation is all that high right now.
1* UNC Wilmington Seahawks +4.5
The Hawks have played since March 8th, when they lost to Campbell in their conference tourney opener. Yale on the other hand, played two days ago, in an OT loss in their conference final. I don't think they can get up for this game, and their students are on Spring Break, so will anyone even be in attendance? Wilmington is chomping at the bit to get back on the floor, and I think they pounce on Bulldogs early, and Yale never recovers.
1* Oklahoma St Cowboys -6.5
The Pokes have known for quite some time that they weren't tournament bound without winning the Big 12 tourney. But they didn't stop playing for Coach Lutz despite that. They won @ UCF in OT two weeks. UCF is dancing. They won a game in the Big 12 tourney. The are still playing. They have some seniors that aren't ready to be done yet. Davidson on the other hand, have two seniors, and neither of them play. They start two freshman, who have to come to Iba-Gallagher to play. Now, it won't be a normal environment, but I think the causal fans still show up, cause what else is there to do in Stillwater?? This offense is fun to watch.
