Multiple reports now that Hurley will not get a new contract with ASU after this season is over, so this is it for him before he probably becomes an assistant for his brother. Baylor won the only meeting this year on their home floor by 5, but shot the ball EXTREMELY well in that game. ASU outrebounded the Bears and caused more turnovers. Baylor has big time turnover problems and it's a strength for this Devil defense.
1* Pittsburgh Panthers +5.5
Another coach that is likely to be done when this season ends is Jeff Capel. But his guys haven't quit on him. They won 3 of their last 5, so there is hope. They played @ Stanford two weeks ago and lost by 8. It was the first game of the West Coast trip, and Pitt led the game with 6 mins to play, until they shit it away. They can play with these guys and they know it. Stanford has been on the East Coast for a week now. That's a long road trip, in a hotel with shitty beds. I'll take revenge and the points.
1* Utah Utes +11.5
Cincy is still getting crazy love from their win @ Kansas. It's pretty crazy to me, seeing that they've only won two games outside of their home gym all year, and now are double digit favorites over a team that played they to a 4 point final just 3 weeks ago??? Please. Cincy still can't make a jump shot, so Utahs horrific defense won't be to terribly exposed.
1* SMU Mustangs -4.5
Is there anyone that needs a couple conference tournament wins more than SMU? They lost their final four games of the year, to go from near lock, to outside looking in, in a two week span. Three of those games were on the road, so a little mercy there. They also have revenge from a 1 point loss @ the Carrier Dome. But Syracuse would have to win the tournament to get in, and that isn't happening. They lost their final 5, and won only 3 of their last 10. They have some really good pieces, but their coaching limits them. Enfield coaches circles around Autry in this one.
Playing golf today, may be back for the 6pm CST starts, may be drunk. Who knows.
