St John's.... Fully capable of beating duke and will definitely win a rematch with UCONN.
FLORIDA.... Nobody has the Bigs to run with Rueben Chinyelu, Alex Condon, and Thomas Haugh other than Houston.... I don't have Houston beating them if it came down to that.
ARIZONA.... Ark will lose to Arizona in the sweet 16 if it were to happen. Purdue, Zaga, and especially BYU not messing with ZONA in this current Juncture. Guards and Big men play... bad recipe for any opponent in March!
MICHIGAN.... Iowa St has exceeded with what they're capable of doing, they will find a way to choke. That is just the frequency of this team. Virginia really wanted to win the ACC championship and showed they do not have it in them to win a close one. Duke and Michigan are similar in various ways. Tenn and Bama got players that want and will to go to the NBA. I don't see the best players on both these two teams running with Michigan for 40 minutes. Yes Michigan has NBA players as well but theirs key motivation a CBB player must have in this tournament. Yaxel Lendeborg is the perfect example. Gets his taste of High major ball and has something to prove.

Tughler only big to run with the Gators.....on Houston...
He fouls way to much....![]()

Reasons for these selections.
NC State is my popcorn team, no way they lose this game against a team that doesn't fit Sean Millers scheme of things.
Ohio St will outshoot TCU's long defenders. A challenge Bruce Thornton has long waited. I will assure you, the world will know who CJ Mobley Jr is after this game.
St Mary's 5 losses came from tough opponents, 3 neutral sites and 2 regular season road games. Home court clearly was the threshold this year. A more telling point is that they lost to both Santa clara and zaga on the road.... Got revenge on both "at home". Then proceeds to lose to Santa Clara in the conference tournament. Texas A&M is a motivated scrappy team that has shown the fan base to not give up after the coach change. Bad spot for St Mary's. They absolutely don't know how to win in these environments. I don't think that changes against an SEC opponent. Still grab those points though.
I am not big on this St Louis team... not one bit. Georgia's skill players will absolutely have their way against this team. Avila is too slow and will need to be a jump shooter this game and I'm confident Georgia's forwards and bigs will make this happen. Athleticism everywhere. Many sharps could be on St louis here.... I have the SEC having a solid thursday....
Villanova looks and plays like a Jay Wright team. Jay Wright teams don't lose in the first round. 2007 was the last time this has happened (Kentucky with Jodie Meeks coming off the bench). The committee knew what they were doing here. Utah teams in any sport, any level.... doesn't matter what it is, that team will find a way to lose in key marque spots all the time. Something must be in the water in Utah. Just something I noticed over the years of sports gambling. You can count on utah to lose certain games. This is one of those games. The young guns give us a taste of what is to come for this program.
Themus Fulks is the identity for this Central Florida team and has been one of my favorite mid-major point guards in recent years. This is a perfect chance for him to capitalize and lead his team against a UCLA team who is banged up at key positions. Dent left the conference tournament game early against purdue. This raises an eyebrow. Yes you want to be healthy for the tournament but I would assume any player would want to compete against one of the best guards in the country. I remember Braden Smith limping in a conference game and playing it out. I believe this was a conference game. I'm not trying to call Dent weak or anything but most of the time I see this type of behavior, it doesn't transcend into positivity. Look at the current NBA
.
UCLA is on upset alert. Too much points and I will absolutely take it. Signs of a ML parlay buster.
Miami has shown me similarities with the 21-22 and 22-23 teams. Both those teams went on runs. Mark Mitchell doesn't make his teammates better.... reasons he didn't make it at Duke. Team play is needed for this Miami defense.

Look at who they play... Coach Golden won't make these games about shooting until later on.
You must have not been watching the closing stretch to St John's season. Pitino has a scheme for duke and Zuby Ejiofor will be up for the challenge.
Michigan St lost too many key games for me to put them over the hump this season. Pitino made adjustments to UCONN and I believe it will translate to another victory if a uconn matchup happens again.

I agree with you on Florida not winning it all... doesn't mean they can't make it to the final four.

You know what. I won’t do that….
I promise I wouldn’t do that. I will ride it out. They shouldn’t lose this game but just iffy vibe.
