Give me Cuse all day...Middle Tenn will not be so lucky tmrw against the zone defense and Boeheim will have his players prep and ready to beat Middle Tenn for his coach friend Tom Izzo.

Im not sure what you meant by that. Can someone elaborate? Whos the inferior opponent? Is the question what could possibly go wfong in sarcasm? Im very lost.

TSW - great stat..andyou are correct. Sy D limits opponents to 30% and they are 10th in Nation in the BEST conF in the Nation. for this category.. First in their conference.... { the explanation is that today's players only play man and rarely see a zone...If you can't penetrate and make the zone collapse,teams start chucking up 3's far more than their average, So SY takes teams our of their comfort and unless the team has 3-4 days to prepare....IT OVER!

What I know: MSU line was off by more than 6 points.IMO.. I dont know the WHY...but When my work is off htat much I back off the game or tease the other side....SO I teased it....unfortunately I bet MSU for 2nd half -12.5....lost that Ratz.
SYracuse should win this game and cover..BUT I do not think they will annihilate them per above...
Now Mid Tenn shot over 55% from the floor and 57.9% from three...wow a real shocker for a Coach Iszo team...don't you think?
I dont know why that line was under by 6 points of what it should have been but MSU had the chance to get Mid Tenn to crumble and they didn't fold....they played thru the rushes and held them off.
Boheheim must be really feeling good and likely WILL NOT let this opportunity slip by.. By its not a free bee SY is only a 2 points better than the current line. BUT....if MTState, starts shooting more than 3's than normal trouble is on the horizon..
Giddy Potts is 1st in nation in 3 point average @ 50+%....shot 75-145 or 5.3 per game..... more than he is FORCING IT!! SY should put on R Upshaw on the Free throw line every chance they get...he is a whopping 49%.....good trade..off every possession. If these 2 things occur....then DBL DIGIT loss is on the horizon...... Otherwise look for 6-8 poinmt game.....if MTState stays within themselves....Hard to do against that ZOne!!!

MTSU probably spent the entire week prepping for Sparty, NOT Syracuse. If they think they can have the same game plan vs. the Orange as they did against MSU they're gonna be in for a rude awakening. Boehiem's zone eats up teams that never played against them before.
