Coastal Carolina -6.5: Chanticleers not getting much love against a mediocre SWAC team, probably because of the 52-point beatdown they took at Illinois State last Sunday. But after further review, I'm giving them a mulligan. It was their third game in three days, with a bit of travel involved too and a quick turnaround from the Saturday to Sunday games. Otherwise, CC has been fairly decent this season, beating a good Winthrop team at home by 6 in their only other Div. 1 home game, while soundly beating Western Illy and North Dakota prior to the Illinois State debacle. A and M got pulverized at Indiana and Clemson and nipped Charleston Southern at home for their only Div. 1 win. Worth noting the big difference in KenPom rankings with CC at 228 and A and M sitting at 314. Playing this for 0.75 units as we edge perilously closer to reaching .500 and into the black on the money ledger.

Getting one in early for Sunday:

Florida Atlantic -2.5: St. Bonaventure is a solid team but when this dropped a point to -2.5, I had to pounce. Think the Owls squeak this one out at home. 0.5 units.

Really kicking myself for not grabbing William and Mary last night at -5.5. Now up to -9.5, it's lost too much value and so I will pass, but won't be shocked if the Tribe covers. I gotta admit I gave pause for thought after seeing such an excellent capper like Rollz on Old Dom.

Well we got very fortunate with Coastal Carolina, though I fear some who followed may have got the morning line of -7.5. And FAU really didn't get into their flow offensively against St. Bonaventure, who I don't think are that great, but what's apparent is there are a lot of pretty solid teams in the A-10 this season. So we spin our heels record wise to 18-20, but now exactly even on the money ledger on posted plays. Confident things will continue to look positive, but as always there are gonna be ups and downs.
Also pretty thankful my Bucs pulled out of their nosedive with a rather uncomfortable win over Arizona. Unfortunately did not foresee the Panthers beating the Rams. Fun times ...
