20 players charged in Point-shaving scheme

It’s on espn … you cannot involve mankind and money …. And not get fraud/theft……… It’s literally impossible     

Is this a surprise....Once they opened up legalized gambling on Draft Kings and other betting sites in certain states, the lid was bound to blow off. There is a lot more going on, but there is too much money involved now with leagues, books, etc making money. They have to have token busts every now and then.

And yet there is still folks that don't think these game are fixed. Fuck my over plays bad over the years....

You don't think some kids in a small college in a small conference who are on Draft Kings ( let's say a frat)  befriend a couple players to throw a first half spread or a second half spread, a total first half spread, or a second half total spread isn't happening. There are a lot more ways to throw a game these days. Heck, they could even throw a live game spread.

And I haven't even gotten in to player props. That's another new way to fix.

The books themselves have been using deception I've noticed in college basketball. I like to play second half, and on their apps it'll show a game with first half at 0:00 time left, only to add a couple points out of nowhere and then it'll say halftime. Suckering people into a bullshit line, and losing money if they decide to cash out to get the better line that's now up. 

Just wait until AI analyzes old film to expose past point shaving.  LeBron James is going to jail. 

Yea, remember when Ohtani held his press conference to address his gambling rumors. He said " I didn't gamble" he didn't take any questions, nothing, case closed.. Yea, Sure, I came away from that convinced he didn't gamble. Obviously I'm being sarcastic. 

I saw North Carolina A&T is on that list. I just bet second halves and I've noticed some shady line movements with other teams in that league. 

Would be interesting if people who lost money on these games could sue the players or people involved. They should

DePaul is the biggest name on that list. I guess they fixed a first half against Georgetown last year.

I fcking knew Christian were scams. One day they blow one team by 30 and the other, they lose against a bad team 

That's how DePaul got caught...I read it was a 27 K bet on Georgetown first half. I'm sure it got flagged obviously. If it was a 27 K bet on the game, it probably wouldn't have been flagged.

 Haha, I feel you bro...that's tough. Im sure other stories will come out about people being on the wrong side. I'm surprised Toledo wasn't on the list. Haven't they been know for being shady in the past? Maybe they've cleaned everything up.
