We got a peak at what SLUs offense is capable of on Thursday when they put triple digits on Georgia. When the offense is clicking, and 3s are going down, this is one of those teams that is probably capable of beating anyone. That being said, I don't think they win today. I don't know how they are going to deal with the size of Michigan. With the three headed monster down low for the Wolves, I don't really know how SLU plans on defending them, or if they even can. Both teams should get to 80.
1* Michigan St Spartans -4.5
This is where Izzo butters his bread. The second day of the weekend. When teams have limited prep time for the next opponent, and coaching becomes a big factor, Tom separates himself from the other. I love Pat Kelsey, have since his Charleston days, but not only is his team outmatched today, so is he. Sparty should own the glass, and have a plan to stop Conwell.
1* TCU Horned Frogs +11.5
Duke has really shown that they miss Foster and Ngongba. While Siena provided a wake up call, I think TCU also got a scare when they were up 15 at half, and then saw themselves playing from behind in the second half, before bouncing back. They will be physical enough to keep Cam Boozer at bay, and have plenty of bodies to throw at him with Punch, Edwards, and Lelevicious.
1* Texas A&M Aggies +10.5
The Aggies have already seen a defensive juggarnaut in this tournament, and they handled them with ease. Now, Houstons defense is on a different level, but St Marys was a good prep. This should be a rock fight, that is a "first team to 65 wins" kinda game. It's tough to win those games by double digits.

houston is on a way different level then st marys and have skill players that can score. St marys has rec league players who cant compete with real nba talent. Texas&m has been for awhile. Houston wins with ease but texas a&m covers
Success is never final, failure is never fatal, and it's the courage that counts.
