1* Florida Gators -8.5
The Gators won the only regular season match up by 4 @ Vandy. But this isn't the same Gators team. Their guards weren't making outside shots, and they weren't defending how they are now. Vandy won't get anything around the basket, and won't get many second chance opportunities. Florida is playing as good as anyone in the country, and shouldn't have any issues winning this game by double digits.
1* St Louis Billikens -5.5
Yesterdays game went exactly as expected, with the Bills digging themselves into a huge hole, and then having to climb out of it. I don't think Schertz lets that happen on back to back days though. Usually there is a lull in between games, and you forget how to bring the energy from the tip. But when you just played yesterday, and had to come back from 21 points, you don't want to have to do that again. A lot of their problems in the first half yesterday was missing wide open 3s, which they usually don't do. I don't count on that happening two days in a row either. Dayton fought for their win too, but like I mentioned in their write up yesterday, I think all their momentum is gone.
1* Penn/Harvard Under 136.5
Both regular season meetings came in well under this number. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Harvard is one of the slowest teams in the country, while also having one of the longest defensive possession lengths in the country. There just isn't enough time in the game for these two to get to this number. And with a trip to the title game on the line, I expect every possession to matter.
1* Charlotte 49ers +14.5
USF will be playing their first game in a week, vs a 9ers team that has now won two straight in the gym already, carries all the momentum and confidence in the world into this game, and has revenge from a 23 point loss last Sunday. This is a huge number to cover, in a unfamiliar gym, vs a team that is riding high.
1* Ole Miss Rebels +11.5
Again, all the momentum lies with the Rebs here. No, this won't be Arkansas first game in this gym, but Ole Miss is playing with house money at this point, and AJ Storr has the length and experience to try and slow down Darius Acuff. He's a handful. Ole Miss lost the only meeting on their home floor by 7. I expect something similar today.
1* St Josephs Hawks +6.5
Speaking of playing with house money, the Hawks were picked to finish like 8th in the conference, but instead finished 3rd, and now get a revenge spot against one of the teams that finished ahead of them. Three possessions is too much for me to give up in this game.
