Don&#x27;t count them out for one bad performance against the #8 team in the country.  Ohio State has defeated more top 25 teams than any other in the country this year.  Plus, still an eternity left in this game and Ohio State plays better in the last 5 minutes of games significantly better than any other team in the country.

A good coach will parlay this into a motive to finish the season out strong. Esp with B10 tournament between their last game and the big tourney.

Would I bet them on them to finish strong? Probably not. But then again, I'm a Mich/Mich State guy and I've been cursed betting on the Buckeyes in both football and bb.

MSU matches up well with OSU. MSU has the frontline players to bang and play defense against the OSU frontline. Payne-Green and Nix are all able offensive scorers and are all solid on the defensive end.

OSU will be fine come tourney time... they will however be more vulnerable versus teams with talented frontlines... they really miss Diebler and Lighty though.

MSU is a team that has really meshed. The team chemistry is there and they have some pieces to be very dangerous come March.
