OK guys, well, to be quite honest, that is the worst possible start I could have imagined when joining covers...I apologize to all those who tailed me, but I can assure you that one losing day will not set me back. I have never seen a team turn the ball over as much as Providence did, and I guess my own school got back at me for betting against them. The bottom line is that yesterday is in the past and today looks to be a great day, with one of my highest rated plays, which are ten units. So, anyways, I apologize once again, but yesterday will only make me work harder. Also, thanks to all of you guys who posted in my thread with encouragement, I really do appreciate it.
10 Units- Delaware (-2) over Georgia State
-Sometimes, the biggest gems can be found in the small school games, and I have found one here with the Delaware Blue Hens. You may not think I have seen them play, but I have a complete college basketball plan for my TV and have seen any team imaginable take the court. When these two teams matched up earlier this year, they split the season series, with each team winning on their own home court. However, GSU barely squeaked by at home, while Delaware took it to Georgia State, 60-48. Anyways, the Blue Hens have a lot of offensive firepower, evidenced by three scorers averaging at least 14 ppg, topped off by Marc Egerson's 15 and 10 a game. Meanwhile, Georgia State is coming off a shellacking at the hands of a solid VCU team, but they only have 2 players averaging in double figures. The fact of the matter is this team just struggles to put the ball in the hoop, scoring under 60 points in exactly 50% of their games. Ride the Blue Hens to an early W!
