Welcome back! Most remember me from awhile back through this sport in particular. I am really going to make an effort this season to hopefully bring some knowledge to you guys that I have not done in several years but have continued to do away from the forums. I live and breathe basketball.
Really looking forward to some normalcy this season is an understatement. Ready to see these gyms packed!
Everything backed will be done through Draftkings. I have just noticed they post earlier than anyone with books allowed through my state.
Theme for me this year more than ever honestly "experience/depth" obviously mixed with NBA talent. I think the "Covid year" these kids have is going to be a major intangible this season. Quality of play should be ridiculous as this season progresses.
Here we go!
Conference Futures(1U)
AAC: UCF +750 .5U
Memphis is going to be a hot pick to cut the nets down this year. Im not buying it. The only thing that draws my interest with this group is Larry Brown being involved. Penny winning a big game x/o wise I just don't see it. Who's knows how many games Sheed gets thrown out of. The whole thing is upside down. Emoni Bates is an absolute cancer and will be their downfall at the end of the day. I have watched him for 2 years now in events I coach at and the kid has been on a major decline. The fact he left his own program for weekend "Bates Fundamentals" to win a few games with Duren blows my mind. Bates Fundamentals was a punching bag on the EYBL or running up against Adidas and UA teams the kid couldn't lead a team period.
On the other side I LOVE what Coach Dawkins is doing at UCF. Closed the season last year 5-1 not to mention this group is bringing everyone back from last year. Explosive and athletic along with playing with more of a continuity this year. Thats a scary mix. Im in on this group!
