Northern Kentucky -4: Always been a respected and competitive mid-major program since Darrin Horn took over as head coach 6 years ago, with a couple of NCAA Tournament berths on the resume. After rough losses to Tennessee (no shame) and a very good ETSU (by 19), the Norse have been playing much better with a 24-point road win over C-Mich and a solid home win over rivals E. Kentucky. Picked to finish right in the middle of the pack in the Horizon, I think the Norse will again surprise some people. As for now, I think they continue their recent resurgence with a home win over a decent Wofford team. See this as a 77-68 type game. 0.75 units.
More to come tomorrow.

Northern Colorado -3.5: Not drinking the Air Force kool-aid after their home tourney wins over Bama St., SIUE and IU-Purdue. Northern Col is expected to compete for the Big Sky title and aren't overwhelmed by going on the road, evidenced by OT wins at Portland and Pepperdine, while also losing a one-point heartbreaker to a good St. Thomas team at a neutral in Portland. Think the Bears push the pace and have too much offence for the Falcons at the good ol' Clune Arena, looking at a 74-61 type win for the visitors.
OK, it's sleepy time.
