short and sweet..... Bison swept 2 reg season games. They won 2 different ways with their inside out game. Both games hit 50%+ shooting but star of game 1 was Timmerman (center) and star of game 2 was Forrest (guard). They were leading end-to-end both games because their Offense strategy against a very undersized American team. Bison are 39th in effective height and american is tiny at 320th. Bison played inside out and pick and pop games and int his matchup, that is death to a tiny team. Bison have 2 bigs that are 7 ft and American just can't guard inside so they have to sag and double which leaves Bison guards wide open, hence their 50%+ 3 pt FG % in both of the first games. Bucknell will absolutely exploit American again. They have lead both prior games wire to wire and easily would have won all 4 quarters had American not hit 4 3s in final 2 minutes of the first game to still lose by 7 despite being down DD majority of game. American does have better shooting %'s from 2 and 3 than Bucknell so it's not like they are garbage. Just mathcup wise is death. American will have to rely on the 3 and shoot 45% to keep this competitive. Even then, Bucknell will get what they want on O and keep this close if not win outright for the 3rd time.

both defensive focused teams that play very slow. SH with 15th best D and a very avg O at 180th. Nova has really locked down last handful on D and is playing much better than their 92nd ranking on D. they play to the 3rd slowest pace in nation. I expect a very tight and tough 1H as both teams have an outside shot at the tourney with a few good q1 and q2 wins in the last games and conf tourney. Tight game, slow pace and great D should start 1H under. Nova on O is differentiator and their fantastic 3 pt shooting advantage. SHall shoots at 257th from 2, 287th from 3 and is bottom 50 in nation in FT % at 67%. Nova should end up on top

south carolina has nothing to play for and launches 3s. they get 35%+ of their points from 3 and miss st, despite having a very good adn physical D, actually allows majority (37%) of opponent poitns from behind the arc. Miss St has been getting out and running lately and I foresee them being pretty free with the pace here as they likely won't be in a competitive game very long as they'll eat SC alive on the interior.
