I just love these spots where a 9-12 team is favored by -1.5 is at home vs. a 14-7 team (of the same conference).

Chat has a great record against Wofford and they’re coming off 2 losses. Wofford has won their last 3.

So I believe the oddsmakers figure Chat is due for a win and put the line to where it is (I think Wofford did open at -1.5 though).

If oddsmakers thought this would be an easy roll for Wofford then the line would be more like -3.5 for Wofford but all these factors I’ve mentioned are taken into consideration before making the line.

Going to ML Chattanooga anyway.

I see Wofford losing this one but bouncing back their next game against ETSU and I see Chat losing their next game when they head into Furman. This makes Chat a good spot.
