I personally wait until mid-way through the CBB season and bet against the shitty teams.  Oh guess what, I do exactly that with CFB as well...be patient enough to wait for the shitty teams to reveal themselves and ride against them until the ride stops.

Howd u do last year KP? Anybody know his record last yr?

 

If someone can't get good info from this post, they are already winning consistently....or need to quit!  Great info and well put KP.

Don't know his record but over the last 3 years he has made a lot of winning plays. Doesn't post everyday but he wins often. Same with riccio14.

Thats a F--cking.. FANTASTIC POST.. my favorite part; " I never watch the games I bet on".. Neither do I.. All that means is that you have been doing this a looong time. But cmon, admit it, you do take a peek on the bottom ticker and you may plop it on the game for a milisecond... thats how I roll. IAs for your Citadel scenario. I executed that logic for NCAA football this year. I knew Bos Coll was horrid, then they got even worse, I had a party with them for the first 7 weeks and now the books have finally caught up. Great post.

KP, what is your thought on qtr, 1st or 2nd half betting?  i see lots of guys doing that on here and followed a few without luck.  Seem to me like foolilsh or is there some good in it?

Almost all of my research and the angles I use rely on the entire game.  Also, there is no reduced juice on those lines where I play and depending on unit-size that can add up in the long run as well.  I don't see nearly the advantage in it that I do when solid handicapping principles are used. 

I haven't found any angle at all - the only trend I see is people losing their bankroll betting too many games on that particular day

Your on my "must-read" thread list everyday, but lets just agree that we use slightly different methods to achieve our desired results!

I agree, I like home team or teams with new head coaches if they are at home (if their offensive/defensive schemes aren't too difficult etc).  Along those lines I'm going to be on TCU tonight (I'll have a small writeup in a new thread a bit later).  I also love that over that you a few others have mentioned, the possessions will be there - the only question is the quality of the players involved.  5dimes is still too chicken to even post totals so we will see.
