SU winners: 22 OT record: 7-3 Record on the open: 32-27-1 Winners because of the Open: 4 Losers because of the Open: 1 Pushes because of the Open: 1
Notes: -Throw another OT loser on the list, my 3rd in the last 4 after a 6-0 start to the season -Something about 11-point halftime leads with teams laying less than a possession as I've lost two in a row in that situation. A nice 1H by Ohio turned into getting outscored 58-40 in the 2H & OT. Defense is optional for the Bobcats and it looks like it showed in the final 25 minutes. Can't believe they blew such a big lead at home in the biggest game of the year -West Virginia was ahead for as long as I was following the game, but also collapsed in the final stanza. Don't know if Aaric Murray got injured, but I referenced his behavior issues with authority figures in my writeup and the 4 minutes played despite starting suggests something happened. Just sucks to see because in his absence Isaiah Austin went off. That's a risk with Hugging as he would rather lose and it's something I'm really sick of at this point -Nobody wants 1-seeds as Michigan fell, bad loss for Arizona and GTown had to survive UConn -The MVC doesn't want a tournament bid with Wichita falling at home to Evansville (probably due to Creighton on deck) and Indiana State fell at home to Drake. Guess I shouldn't have annointed them as the first team in because they've fallen and fallen hard -Maryland doesn't want in either after dropping a bad game @GT, same can be said for Arkansas -There are gonna be a lot of really bad teams in the tournament in March, which could be great for hopefully another 10-1 postseason because I sure as hell need it

add Virginia -1 (-110) vs. Duke -Saw it hit 1 and didn't want to potentially lose with a UVA win. Should be a tough game as Duke always gets the whistles, but if you look at Kenpom you'll see that these teams are extremely similar in almost every category and the Hoos are deeper thanks to the Kelly injury. If Kelly returns I will try to buy off, but I don't expect that until next week at the earliest. Gonna hope that UVA finally plays well for me after I've lost everytime fading them this year (0-3 I think). This is huge for UVA while Duke could be caught looking ahead to the rematch with Miami on Saturday where they want revenge for the blowout earlier in conference play. Tony Bennett Jr. will throw a bunch of bodies at Mason Plumlee and all I can hope for is to limit his productivity, while perimeter defense will win this game. Joe Harris has been so good against me this year, if tomorrow's not his night then Nolte or Jesperson will need to come through. Harris is just so big that I don't think Sulaimon can check him and Duke doesn't really have anybody else on the bench besides backup 4's

UVA 1H is a good bet, duke is 6-13 ats in the first half this year and with big bad miami looming its a nice spot for an early let down on the road
I understand your point and the stats seem to back it up, I'm just not sure I want to kick myself when UVA is down 1 and holds the ball for the last shot only to miss as they head to halftime. Fouling at the end doesn't mean much because I'm asking them to win with this play anyways. Good luck

-UNC is pretty much a lock for the tournament, though they aren't really that good and took advantage of a down ACC. Clemson is a part of that for sure, but they should not be getting this many at home. Brad Brownell teams play great defense and grind you down into a grueling pace, which has never been good for Roy Williams as he wants to play as fast as possible. The Heels are going to try a bunch of long-distance shots, but I expect that to be at the top of Brownell's list. If the shots aren't falling, I like the size advantage Clemson has now that UNC is using four perimeter players and then McAdoo in the middle. That's probably their best lineup this year, which is smart, but not the best to match this opponent.

I don't like BYU this year. I've seen them play several times and haven't really ever been impressed. I think they have been over-rated and overvalued in WCC games since they joined the conference.....I don't think tonight is any different. Zags will do whatever they want inside tonight. It's tough for me to back any team when they are going to get killed on the boards and give up lots of points in the paint. Of course, I'm wrong a lot so good luck to you, Warner

UNC is top 10 in the nation in scoring, rebounding and assists. Clemson just doesnt have the skils to keep up for 40 minutes imo
bol regardless
The rebounding stars aren't reflective of this new lineup and I bet those other numbers aren't adjusted for pace. Still doesn't mean I'm in love with this play nor Clemson. Also hearing KJ McDaniels is out with an ankle injury and that removes a good athlete who could have defended Reggie Bullock

Also not that impressed with BYU, besides haws they really can't shoot this year and that's so different compared to the Jimmer days. A play would be based on the Marriott Center more than anything, just not sure if that's enough for me to add it (especially after I got greedy and let 6.5 then 6 go).
Disappointed I haven't jumped in, but I expected the public money to overcome the sharp and it clearly has not even with big percentages on GU. Still may play, gonna wait for a move to 6 cuz I'm in if I see it again. Go Tigers!
Billy-- lets do it!

add Brigham Young +5 (-110) vs. Gonzaga -The Zags are so good and the Y has no answer inside, but the Marriott Center is one of my favorite places to back a home team and getting five points is far too much. Tyler Haws will need to have a big game.
