This was two straight games that played out virtually identical. I understand what I'm about to say may sound somewhat extreme. The place of play was at Lucas Oil stadium, a football stadium. One end was absolutely cavernous behind the goal compared to the opposite end. I realize both teams have the same amount of time per half to adjust to the depth perception difference. My understanding the higher seeded team is given the option as to which bench and end it defends prior to tipoff. In both games the team that shot at the basket with a much farther background found themselves quickly trailing and behind at half. That, forces halftime adjustments, can draw you out of your original game plan and force you to press in the 2nd half? Note: Neither loosing team was ever behind as much they were tonite the whole season.
Question: Under the circumstances, do I have a valid point whether there is a question of fairness or am I just a nutball?
