Since 1990 9 number 1 seeded teams have won their first game vs a 16 seed by 10 or less. Only 2 of them made it to the elite 8. None of the 2 won by more than 6. None of them advanced past final four

9 times in 36 years. That's is like an average of one every 4 years. Any of those happened after they legalize gambling?

Correct. I think the more important part is these teams dont win it all. But just as an added bonus. UNC did dominate their elite 8 game before losing in Final 4 so....who is to say with only 2 games in that spot
