Coyote ugly

1-2 yesterday, soul-crushing loss with Saint Louis, but we've all had them many times ...

Not a great card today but got one so far:

South Dakota -3: Mainly just a fade of horrible Air Force, who are playing away from the Clune Arena for the first time at a neutral in Arkansas. Don't see AF being able to handle the shooting and pace of SD (36th in tempo, KenPom). SD does not defend much but I see them being able to shoot their way out of trouble against a punchless AF. 0.5 units.

I didn't know they don't travel well. There's a certain irony in that a team called Air Force doesn't like to fly.

I needed a good chuckle after that Rangers performance.

Maybe we could say they travel just fine, they just don't win basketball games when they fly away from their home base.

As for the Rangers, I think they turn things around soon. If their home record were as good as their road record, they'd be at the top of their division.

Haha yeh that was freaking hilarious And yes, congrats to those who tailed. South Dakota kinda fell asleep there to start the 2nd half and I was having visions of another Saint Louis meltdown, but they got it back together in time.

Rangers, they look like 2 completely different teams at home and on the road. Never seen anything quite like it. Very, very costly loss today as Adam Fox suffered what looks like a significant shoulder injury. If he is out for any length of time, the way it is in the Eastern Conf., we could fall hopelessly out of it pretty quickly.
