XAVER -6 for 20 units... Brad Steven's currently holds a 121-29su (80.6%) record early into his 5th season as head coach at Butler. Steven's is also 66-12su in his career in Butler's home game's. However I haven't seen Butler look this soft in nearly 7 years as they already have 2 home losses this year (Louisville 53-69 & Valpo 71-77ot) as the Matt Howard & Shelvin Mack post era is quickly seeming like a long time ago. This Butler team just flat out lacks talent and it's showing on offense as they are only shoting at a 40% rate at the moment. These are not the standards and levels needed to beat a team like the 8th ranked Musketeers on any court as they are only allowing their opponents to shot just 37% this season and return their top 3 scorer's from last season's 24 win team. Xavier already has promissing win's notched up on their early NCAA resume over Purdue and @ Vandy sprinkled into their 6-0 start. Butler is not going to make the NCAA tourney this season unless they win their conference tourney because they just lack the talent needed to win thos year at a consistent level. Butler just hasn't replaced what they have lost from last year's team and they are no better than 3rd best in the Horizon and most likely it's going to be worse than that. I'm throwing down on the X-Men on the road here as they won 8 games last season on the road and have already done so this year with a win against Vandy on the road...POD

Let me introduce you in simple terms to the 2012 Southern Illinois Salukis. This is just a 13 win team one year removed that has lost 3 of it's top 4 scorer's from last season's team. Sometime's this is a good thing for bad basketball team's to switch it up with new player's. However in this case we are finding out real quick that this Southern Illinois team could be well on their way to a single digit win season. So far this season they are 1-3su with their lone win coming against the 0-8su Chicago State Cougars. Just so you know the Chicago State Cougars have lost those 8 games by an average margin of 27.4ppg. Southern Illinois also lost at home already to Saint Louis by 19pts and to the Ohio Dominican Panthers by 1pt. Ohio Dominican is a former NAIA team in its 1st season in NCAA-II basketball and currently has a record of just 2-4su woth losses to Southern Indiana, Central St(Ohio), Grand Valley st & Ferris st. Ohio Dominican lost those game by an average of 11.25ppg but somehow managed to beat this Southern Illinois team on there on home court. We are getting a great number because of the recent losses that Western Kentucky has compiled but if you take a look at their losses you can more than make a case that their defense of holding opponents to just 41% shooting and 3 wins against teams with a winning record of 11-10 was enough to persuade me into believing there is no way in hell that Southern Illinois should be favored here. Western Kentecky has played 9 games thus far and been put to the test much more than that of Southern Illinois and frankly I believe I would play Western Kentucky in this spot up to a -2 or even a -3 yet i'm getting +5.5 pts...
And as soon as a 1st half number becomes available in around 10am in the morning. I will be on that as well for another 20 units...

^^yeah everybody was surprised when found out they were going NCAA so soon, and they plan to go D1 within like 8-10years!!
Anyway GL Wednesday odds.
I can't see that happening. They signed just a 3 year agreement and will have to impress the D-2 just to stick around. However that would be some accomplishment...
