This number is inflated off Arizona's last game, where they shot well above their baseline. That kind of efficiency isn't sustainable, especially against a Purdue defense that protects the rim and forces tougher perimeter looks. This is a clear recency bias spot. Purdue brings a veteran core that's been through this stage, which matters in a high-pressure Elite Eight game. Braden Smith controls tempo and creates clean offense. This looks like a tight game and one that should stay within the number.
