Kansas already showed earlier this season it can drag Houston into a slower, defensive game, holding the Cougars to just 56 points in a 69-56 win. That style matters here. Kansas leads the Big 12 in FG% defense (38.7%), and if they control the glass well enough to limit Houston's usual second-chance opportunities, this shapes up as a possession-by-possession grinder where grabbing the points carries value.
