Bulls Get Slowed Down by a Bushel of Wheat

 1-0 today

Shockers need to win to get in; USF will get an at-large.  Wichita knows it needs to slow down the Bulls to have any chance.

First game was a bit of track meet (86-85) USF winning with H1 at 73, plus 17 in OT.

Second game favored the Shockers tempo (66-58) USF won again, with H1 scoring at 59.  Shockers play at adj tempo ranked 242.

USF games have hit the under lately 7 of 9 by my count, their defense is actually one of the most efficient in the AAC.

Wichita knows they can handle the Bulls if they slow them down just enough.

 lol South Florida isn’t getting an at large bid. The AAC is a one bid league.

 OK, that was a bit optimistic; it's about 50-50 right now at tourneyodds.

If the Shockers can pull out the win, we'll get to find out.

Yeah, KC is very likely correct.

I took a look for myself. 

Unlike FAU in '24, USF has no signature wins in non conf play (FAU beat Arz that season).  They did beat 3 conference winners - mid majors, Kennesaw, Utah St. and UMBC.   That may put them on the bubble somewhere, but I don't think they get in if they lose.
