Bodog has been giving different lines to people for years now....  But Bodog has its advantages when you like taking dogs or non public plays.

Because they are ripping people off.

The poster above indicated that he/she never had a line move in his/her favor.

BODOG needs to be exposed on here.  Covers endorses them and that is a direct reflection on Covers integrity and as far as I was concerned Covers is SOLID.

I was with with them for a month, realized they are the worst when they put up 20 hurdles to cash out. Decided to see what would happen at their casino with my account since I wasn't gonna go through tons of bullshit for $500 (started with 250) and got cleaned out in no time (like never a win). Fuck Bodog. Plus their vig games piss me off to no end.

Bodog is an absolute piece of shit. Nothing on that site is even semi-decent, their lines are horrible, their customer service is shit and they constantly rip off their members.  I'm shocked that people still use this book.

Anybody who has an account on Bodog, GET OUT now.  Go with The Greek.

Yet another post about how bad Blodog is. I've seen at least 10 of these and have never heard anything good about them.

I quit because of the red "no parlay" box....

For whatever its worth BetUS is worse.  Over 2 years of playing with them I had the line move against me probably 50 times and the line move in my favor once.  I should have left long before but hey I'm a recreational gambler.

I like you assumed it was rigged after so many price changes against me.  I actually went one step further to confirm this.  At the halftime of a Pittsburgh Baltimore game I wanted Pittsburgh -2.5.  I bet Pittsburgh -2.5 for 110.  The line changed to Pittsburgh -3 -115.  I got angry.  I still bet it.

I then was so upset that I came back 60 seconds later and bet Baltimore +2.5 -110 for the minimimum amount of $5 expecting it to change to +3 -105.  It didn't.  They simply accepted the wager at +2.5. 

I then clicked Pittsburgh and bet $5 to doublecheck.  Sure enough Pittsburgh -3 -115.

I called up and got the manager of the book.  He had no explanation.  He simply said he could do me a HUGE favor and cancel my $5 Baltimore wager as the second half hadn't started yet.

Needless to say I no longer book there.

ive been with them ALL , they all do it its just finding the one that does it less often . has anyone else noticed when the line changes its never in our (the gamblers) favor ,ever.  im on sportsbook.com  and not once has a line moved in my favor ,be it the juice has gone up or half a point against me, just as im submiting my bet.  thanks for sharing this so others can stay away from them cause from my experience their bottom dwellars in offshore gaming industry.

Seeing the same thing. They suck and as US player have been stuck with them. Play teasers a lot so not really a problem. I just played 2 bets on Michigan and Wisky, and lines were actually in my favor compared to Youhide lines. Wish I had another option

Welcome to online betting dude.  That kinda shit happens all the time.  You know how many times at BetUS I've had a perfect bet, that is ON the board, then by the time I press "confirm" it's suddenly "OFF the board".. but then I go to the game channel and it's still a good 45 seconds before tipoff?  And then the wager that I was too late to place hits.. almost every time



Also -115 juice is normal on online books.  That's why we all belong in Vegas betting cash money

 

You cannot possibly be serious. If you don't understand why this matters and how it affects the bottom line, and can't also see the problem with a line jumping from -2.5 to -3 when you hit the submit button, then you're exactly the player Blowdog wants.

I think I am going back to where I started and never had any problems.  The Greek.  the only thing is that the greek needs more ways to deposit.  I am not happy with 5 dimes right now because some of the crap u r talking about at Bodog I think is happening at 5dimes.  I placed a bet and the line changed, I did not think the change mattered because the change I thought i would still hit until I hit again after typing the password and it changed back to the original spread even though my initial picked i brought pts but instead of keeping the adjusted points i brought it reverted back to the game spread.  I was like what the fuck just happen and they would not change the parlay.  It was doing with game totals not the spread of the games.  I love 5 dimes and don't think they are doing it on purpose.  I think the programmer just has not figured it out and it does no use pointing it out because they get pissed and angry when u r telling them it is happening.  Now either they know and screwing us or the tech person knows it is a glitch and will not address it because they will be fired because they sometimes screw up their rules.  We know every book has some different rules.  I said forget it because i did not want to get anyone fired.  I love the convinence of 5dimes and all of the different ways to play.  It is great for a parlay player like myself.  I know ppl say it is a waste.  Not if u win.  I am good with parlays.
