Let’s talk about Coaching… Ehsan is one hell of a coach. He’s got the DNA to build a winning program from the ground up - 2 years in the program and they’ve seen massive improvements - they beat a very good team in Drake LY. These Chicago kids are well coached and should represent inner Chicago city well.

Love the UIC play. I’ve been tracking each game closely. Drake was the second best team in that tournament, at least the way they were playing.

Separately, it’s tough to ask a team like UNI to win 4 straight games in 4 straight days. Not to mention they probably barely slept last night. UIC got the full day to rest, and they’ve only played two games. I think the UIC offense outpaces a tired, UNI defense here. UIC has only had to cruise through two games to get here. Both against solid teams, too.

Well, Ben Jacobson is one hell of a coach at N. Iowa. I don't think UIC has an edge there. Where they do have an edge is rebounding. IUC is in the top 40 in the country in rebounding, while N. Iowa ranks in the 350's!!! Toughness and physicality go to UCI. Yet UCI cannot shoot threes, while N. Iowa is one of the best in the country. How will N. Iowa's legs be today? Should be a great game!

If N. Iowa keep shooting 70 per cent from the field, it's gonna be tough ...

Fingers crossed! I’ve seen plenty of Mountain Valley teams overcome worse deficits! If UNI holds up the 3 percentage we are cooked. 

Maybe we back door it’s clear UIC isn’t discipline on defense and will keep leaving UNI open for wide open 3s as they have all game
