UCONN has several things going for them tonight:

7-2 ATS on the road

9-3 ATS after a win

9-1 straight up last 10 head to head

St.Jons is 2-6 ATS after a loss

St.Johns is 5-11 ATS playing at night...what are they doing during the day??

***Revenge factor for getting blown out at home to St.Johns last season.

UCONN hits the offensiver boards #8 in the country off rebs and hits their FT's #21 in the country.......all important to cover a spread.

St.Johns is #310 in offensive rebounds and a very poor defensive team.

UCONN -1.5

st. johns didnt blow them out on the road last season, uconn won by 16

it was the big east tourney smashing they did last year, which was at the garden

st. johns 2-1 ATS last 3 season vs uconn, and 6-4 ATS since 1997 vs uconn when played at the garden

I stand corrected, although losing to them in the Big East tourney by such a large margin is motivation enough for me.

Hey Gil... I like the pick a lot(kind of a homer pick on my end). With the game being played in MSG 2nite... does that factor into your pick from any standpoint?

This sure smells like a trap game at MSG especially how well St Johns has been playing ranked teams but UConn is the right call.

No, it doesn't for me. I think the Duke game has people leaning towards St.Johns, but in my opinion they won't nail Duke AND Uconn and if they do my hats off to them.

If the Johnnies play as they did when DUKE came to town, and Huskies play tit for tat as they did vs the Hall, UCONN is gonna get buried.
