I think this is a revenge factor for calgary after there lose to a home opener to Edmonton in the start of the new season. Edmonton is beginning to slump again and I dont think ricky ray has the answer right now for his team to put it together while they slumped against hamilton on the road. Calgary much more a better team right now and now they got there defense in order.

EDM played the best 7 quarters of football in 2 weeks prior to last week coming back from a 22-0 1st Q. deficit in Mosaic Stadium to beat the Roughies and then they handed MTL their only loss of the season.
(It is important to note the the victory vs. SAS was also very significant in that MTL had handed the Riders their most embarrassing HOME loss in 17 years and most of us know how rare it is for that team to lose 2 in a row at home but that is exactly what happened when EDM left their house....one of the 2 toughest places to play as an away team)
They took down the two teams who were undefeated 2 weeks earlier back-to-back.
I was at the game last week and ESKS lost that game on arguably 2-3 plays in real lousy weather on a surface they don't play on often. I go to every Ticats home game and they are the real deal in the fact that they will entertain, cover spreads and maybe go 10-8 this year .Obie and Marcel are doing a great job there.( I did call that before the season start) but EDM is still # 2 on my power ratings right ahead of the Ticats and one close road loss hardly constitutes a "slump" in anyone's book after 2 BIG WINS!
I respectfully submit that EDM is slightly better than CAL and will close the deal at home tonite by 3-5 pts.
Enjoy the game!

Damn...Cannon..that didn't click but you are so right...CAL-EDM have not even met yet and MTL and CAL 20-0 in that game and CAL came back to tie it 27-27 but that did not last long as a 9 turnover game saw MTL prevail 40-27.
I think KO just K.O.'d himself

This is gonna be a nasty, dirty, smash mouth football game that is critical to both these teams. They play each other 3 times in the next 4 weeks & whichever team wins that series is in good shape to win the West. Calgary FINALLY puts it all together tonite and wins a very close game
