Vs. Network starts things off. Vanes will win, but I like his UP as well, as I can see this one seeing the final buzzer.

Holt vs. Tackie has a little intrigue. I might be willing to try an ITD on Ben if that opens, as Holt is canvas freindly, and I gotta think Ben will get in close enough to test Holt's chin at some point. Holt via Decision would be welcome as well.

I like CH in the chick fight.

My knockout of the year guy from 2007 headlines ESPN2. Flores has enough of a size edge that he might give Ding-a-Ling a bit of a go. But I'm stikcing to DDubs Power. Want an ITD here as well.

Vanes & his Low both win. But what was that? Did Ronnie Shields actually finally, what's that word? Improve? Yah; did he actually finally improve someone? Yup. Vanes Left-Hook was a thing of beauty. Short, compact, downward. He D near KO'ed this guy one the 1st one that missed by a split sec. I knew it was over on that one opening missing shot. I'm very impressed, as Vanes almost looked like a Lefty turned Righty. Though no1 should make that change of direction in this Sport.

Listen, I'm not real sure Ben won a single round, but I am sure he did not win 5 rounds. I like Ben, & I feel sorry for him seeing him that slow. Dude just fell back to watershed trailhorsey, between prospects and contenders. Somtimes that's ok, but Ben temperment strikes me as the kinda that will chase & therefore stay too long. Poor Vs. Network kan't make a good fight for having a nice broadcast team, as NC does nice work. But Holt is kinda trapped between Champ & Contender. Not many will wanna fight him as Contenders, not many Champs will view him as lucrative enough to risk their belt against. But at least his Decision outcome prop went right.

Appreciate it.  It was really a scare more than anything with his heart, ended up putting a couple of stints in.  He should get out tomorrow.  He is old school, a real boxing historian.  I have a feeling he and Burt Sugar could keep a conversation going on for a month.  He's 82 and still watches every televised card.

Bigeiii has a way sometimes of covering every angle.  Like I have said a few times I will never understand the way he bets, but to all his own.

I'm glad I pulled an anti Darth Vader and helped.

I got to see about three rounds.  It looked to me as Tackie was even slower then the Gomez fight and Holt was sporadically flurrying and doing a lot of holding.  Tackie is too tough for his own good.

Admittedly I know nothing about Pinzon other than what is on paper, but Rivera isn't a spring chicken and he has lost to this caliber of fighter before.  Seems to be some value here.

I think Olosegun is in a different class than Wright.  I may have a bit of an unrealistic view because I saw what were probably his two best performances against Pryce and Nuumbembe, but I am banking that it's realistic.  Why not just carry it over to Pavlik?

I'm interested to see some Flores-Wilson props.  I may be tempted by a Flores decision play.

Hey Fullbrights, Speaking of spring chickens, can you go into more detail at some point on your relatively large Castillo play?  I was originally on it, too, but I didn't realize that Castillo is 31 (while Montiel is 28).  I definitely want Castillo to beat Montiel, but I started to have a few concerns as I analyze the fight a little more: (1) Castillo's penchant for cutting, and (2) the age factor. 

Good luck on your plays this weekend.  I may take your advice and throw a few bones on Pinzon in order to have something to cheer for on the Telemundo show.

I will actually be nursing my better half back to health that night. She has surgery that morning to get her tonsils and adenoids removed.

I wonder if this really comes off though, I talked to the guy who is putting it on a couple of weeks ago and he didn't even mention it.  He is actually the reason behind my screen name here, I trained at the gym he used to own, "Fullbrights Boxing Club" while I attended Clemson.  Started using the screen name then for stuff because it was easy to remember and just got used to it. The gym has been closed for four years, but he is trying to raise some money/buzz to get it going again.  I guess that may be the reason behind this show, but I would have thought he would have mentioned it when we talked.  Maybe he just didn't want me putting a bunch of guys in the hospital .  Just kidding, I probably couldn't go two hard rounds now without passing out.  The extent of my boxing workouts since the gym closed has been pad work and shadowboxing maybe once a month.
