That was nice. Both the LOW+14o & Biak+125 checking in at plus money winners.
I would have taken a point, for at least one of the two 1st Round shots Biak landed after the Don went down. Might have DQ'ed him for the 2nd. Absolutely no need for that. Further, this Ref let the Don take several extra shots, after it was clear he was no longer defending himself. Only Biak's looping inaccurate wildness prevented that from being extra ugly. That's nearly conspicuous to me. But Biak did win, though he's still only a World Title challenger level kinda guy to me. Biak vs. EM or Biak vs. Lacy (if he heals up) anyone???
I agry on the above JMM LOW. & guess who I'm backing until the wheels come off of the Cotto bandwagon? He's one of my high Voltage boys from 4 years ago, & who has SSM really beaten since "Winky" did him?

Nice call on the under. I'm glad that you also were able to ride the Bika train with me.
I'm still undecided on Cotto-Mosley. I might not play it at all. I find myself siding with Mosley, but at the same time wondering if I am out of my mind.
On a side note, it looks like my Tigers might get another crack at your Hokies after all, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Long time no read man. You've been MIA from the boxing board for a while. Do your boys get it done against Spurrier this Saturday. I am loving this South Carolina collapse, all the Coots trashed us last year for our finish, but ours doesn't hold a candle to this. From 6th at 6-1 to looking 6-6 square in the eye, I love it.

I haven't made my official pick yet, but I'm in the same boat. At first, it seemed crazy to even be thinking about going against Cotto at MSG, but Mosley's a big welterweight who can probably handle the pressure while giving Cotto fits with movement and punches coming at all different angles. Cotto's used to bullying smaller opponents, and even then, he's been hurt by guys like Corley and Torres, who are both smaller than Mosley. If Judah gave Cotto problems, then how's he gonna handle Mosley, who will actually have a fight plan and be thinking while in the ring?

Random thoughts on last night for no reason in particular....

Has any trainer ever benefited so much from one punch (Tarver) then Buddy McGirt? I love betting against him now.
I finally figured out why they have Jeff Connor as the ring announcer, he provides comic relief with his constipated facial expressions and rivers of sweat. Plus, he provides added suspense because you never know what long drawn out syllable will be the one that leads to a heart attack. How does he still have that gig?

Great start to the week with Bika.
Added a few more plays......
1.25 units on Mosley (+145) vs Cotto
I may be eating crow on this one when I get back next week. I really think he ruins the Puerto Rican party in MSG on Saturday night.
.50 of a unit on under 9.5 rounds (+275) in Mosley-Cotto
This is a semi-value play. With 8 oz gloves in play and the power that Cotto has coupled with his suspect whiskers I think that is a bit too much on the positive side.
.65 of a unit over 8.5 rounds (-125) in Froch-Reid
Reid can stink up the joint. He has only been stopped once when
Lacy hit him with everything in the book and even then he really wasn't that silly when his corner stopped it. I think that Froch takes a while to get going here and I really wouldn't be surprised at all to see this go the full distance.

Hedging my long standing future parlay (top of the thread) with the over in Mormeck-Haye. I really don't see the over cashing in, but I hate to have had it gone on this long without getting anything out of it and losing money. Plus. I don't think the number climbs much higher than what I got at thegreek today and still currently is. If the under hits and the parlay cashes I net 4.36 units, if the over hits I net only 1.4 units; needless to say, I still like the under a good bit.
I like two more plays, but I have to wait till 5dimes and thegreek copy the lines. They are unusually slow this week.

Yeah man, I've been concentrating on football season solely. Been kicking major ass until a couple weeks ago. I go to a lot of games, so I can't watch a lot of fights and keep track of them too. I'll be around a little more often now that there's a lot of good fights on queue.
Dear God man, I just want to make it out of there alive on Saturday. Night game, SC is in a corner, a lot of touts are on the Gators, Tebow's a little banged up, we don't match up well, etc. . . I just want the W, and don't care how I get it. It's funny to watch the collapse though, I got a lot of SC friends, and now they don't talk to me about football much anymore, and that's the way I like it since 90% of them are completely delusional anyway. You know how it is.

Bigs, I am back to help a friend in need. Just kidding. We ended up stopping in Valdosta, GA last night a little over half the way to fun in the sun; traffic really chewed up time yesterday, so I thought I would jump on the hotel computer to see if anything drastic had happened. It seems like lately you have to hold your breath till the last minute hoping a fight isn't scrapped due to injury. Ran into some killer traffic jams yesterday, but my wife doesn't like flying.
Quickly, to break it down for you. Santa Cruz struggles have come from breaking down to heavy pressure, Casa doesn't bring this. Casamoyer's inactivity at 36 is not a good thing, though I do like the fact he is back with Joe. Santa Cruz was a sparring partner for Casa pre Coralles II and from what I hear held his own pretty well. Santa Cruz has come a long way since then and although it isn't a huge indicator of the success he will have tomorrow night it has to help his mental mindset a bit.
I'm out for real now after this set of posts, good luck to everyone this weekend.

No doubt, USC fans are as delusional as they come; though some of my Clemson brethren are the same way. I like to think I am a realist, with that said I see us winning out, taking the ACC, and taking the Orange Bowl regardless of the opponent. Just kidding, I think Wake takes us down to the wire, we lose to BC (they have our number), and we beat the Coots. I always liked to be surprised though and it seems like lately the surprises are not in the win column with the Tigers.

Casa will grow old, sooner rather than later. I'm sure on this. But while I actually like both fighters here, Casa is something of a younger 38, if you know what I mean. Kinda a poor mans B.Hops, taking good care of himself outside the Ring, training harder than most, blah-blah-blah. SC seems have some fatigue issues later in fights as well. I'm gonna play Casa for a min.wager parlay, as I man nervy about any 38 year guy turning old overnite. I also like the UP here as well.
Added AM in a parlay as well. I'm leery of the punishment AM took last time out. But AM is girty if nothing else, & me thinks he has enough starch left in his shirt to take a guy w/ a helluva a easy joking target of a real name out.
