Pascal-Hopkins In Fight Thread

Let's get ready to rumble or play

!. Who's going to lead first? We'll probably see a lot more of moving & feints then punches in the early rounds. I hope this fight doesn't turn out to be a stinker.

If Hopkins loses...He can always go on social security.

i'm thinking of scoring this fight in French. Parlez vous?

Moronic & idiotic talk from the talking heads. Tarver just said said the crowd will turn on Pascal if he doesn't start fast. Yeah right???

I thought Hopkins was pretty funny when he said he was sitting in his rocking chair with his teeth in a glass, when he heard Pascal call him out.

10-8 Pascal

I need to see that again.  Looked fugazi.

Good knockdown.

Without that KD, I would've given the round to BHop.

That first round will prove large on the final scorecards.

3 pt swing that round.  10-9H to 10-8P.

2-0 rds Pascal

Pascal looks more & more comfortable

Not sure about that.  I think Pascal might be able to cruise here, based on what I've seen.

soon Hopkins will need a KO to win. I hope Pascal doesn't go too wild.

With that 2nd knockdown, the fight is pretty much over.  Pascal will coast to a decision from here.  The fight has been air tight, but Hop just doesnt have his legs anymore.  2 punches will decide this fight.

Hopkins punches (esp. the jab) look so fn' slow.  The jab looks like it's in slow motion.

Hop took Rd 4 but he's already behind 3 pts.

Keep boxing Pascal. Don't get crazy. Hopkins might have won that rd

49-46 Pascal thru 5.

4-1 rds Pascal

Hopkins won two in a row, IMO.

I really dont think Pascal is that great.  I think Bute schools him.  Hopefully that one is next.

Hopkins has Jedi-mindtricked Pascal into fighting exactly the way he wants him to.  No pressure, pot-shotting.  Awful way to fight the old man.

4-2 Pascal rds

Pascal starting to look a little winded

Pascal is definitely losing this fight w/o those 2 knockdowns.  They count, however.

I have it 57-55 Pascal at the midpoint.  Knockdowns the difference.
