Excellent start to this fight.  Hopefully they don't tighten up now that they've both been down.

Berto still looks hurt to me.  When the clinches get seperated, Ortiz is bouncing away, while Berto is turning his back and looking tired.

Ortiz 10-9... I hope he doens't punch himself out

Ortiz looks excellent, but he keeps smothering himself against the ropes when he's teeing off on Berto.  He needs to keep better distance and he can stop him.

Ortiz was giving him the business with the head while Berto was against the rope and they were getting broken up.

 

I didn't think we could see any fight to compare with Marquez/Concepcion, but this can possibly match it.  This is sick.

My HBO went out ,so I missed that rd

8th rd?  Lots of clinches.  Both look gassed.  Tough to score, probably an Ortiz round.

Only saw part of that rd...Not paying my cable bill this month

Berto keeps looking at the clock on the big screen. Like he's trying to just get out of rounds.

And IMO, Ortiz is using his head in every clinch.

The pace has certainly slowed.

OK.  I really think Ortiz has done some subtle rough-housing things this fight, but taking that point was bad.  Ortega won't leave him alone now either.  Berto is so loose on his legs, Ortiz sometimes can't control where he's hitting him.  The head.....that's another story.

Ortiz just needs to stay on his feet to win...Box box box

One other thing:  Dan Rafael is really an idiot.  He's good for getting news and scoops, because he has so many connections, but he really knows nothing about the sport and fighting.  He has Berto ahead, and he keeps saying that Ortiz looks more tired than Berto.
