I love the boxing forum.

I agree that Cotto is the play but that juice isn't playable.

Under is the MAJOR WAGER but a few coins on Mayorga just in case.

I can't get a clear read on what Cotto has left.

He must knockout Mayorga, if he does than he's back in the picture

no play for me but mayorga has a slim chance- one lucky punch could make for a big pay out and cotto is not the quickest guy in town

Cotto is not the faster guy but he's not slow. Judah/Mosley weren't too fast for him but Pacquiao was.

If you ignore his TKO in his last fight over Walker (who had been knocked out in his past 2 fights) the last guy he KO'd was Forrest in 2003. His power has just not been the same.

Weight was clearly the difference in the Cotto Manny fight. Cotto draining himself to make that weight takes a major toll on his body and Freddy Roach knows this. Manny has no problem making that 145 so his body is fully prepared and ready to fight while Cotto's energy/stamina isn't 100%. Roach clearly knows this is an advantage for his fighter. They agreed to fight Margicheato at 150 but yet didn't want no part of Cotto at 147 which is odd. And yes 2 pounds makes alot of difference in boxing.

This is a Don (The Crook) King fight and Mayorga will get a shot at Manny "Pac Man" if he wins tonight.  Don will be there to collect that huge payday (Pac Man v Mayorga) and you know he wants it to happen.

Just my $0.02, but if it happens (Mayorga wins) you know why.

I will take Mayorga at +Plus $$ for the win tonight.  Worth a shot knowing that Don (The Fixer) King is in Mayorga's corner.

Mayorga is the bet 2nite!!! If you miss out on such a line you will regret it!!! Here we are all gamblers and we take risk on every bet!!! It´s true that some of us make smarter bets and take less of risk and some of us take more risk and less smarter bets, at the end of the day we all loss some and we all win some!!! 2nite is a great oportunity to take a small risk and win a good chunk of cash!!!!!! If you are even considering to bet this fight Mayorga should be the call!!!! The under is what everyone expects but let me tell you that unless Mayorga K,O´s Cotto this fight is going to go over!!!! Everyone expects the under because Cotto and Mayorga are both sluggers and hard punchers. Mayorga is a strong fighter and alot of folks think that Mayorgas main asset is his hard punching but that´s not true!!! Mayorgas number one asset is his endurance and ability to take a beating and if he prepared himself like I personally know he did this time he will take Cottos punches.. With this I am not saying that Mayorga is a sure winner, but for me it is the smart risk to take 2nite!!!!

I can not agree with you more!!! all though call me crazy but the Over should be good as well!!! Mayorga has not K.O many people in his latest fights(in wich he did not prepare as well). The fight that really cathces my atention was the Mosley - Mayorga fight that went 12 rounds I know that Cotto is suppose to be stronger than Mosley but if Mayorga went 12 rounds with Mosley I just cant see Cotto K.O Mayorga in less than 9. Mayorga, the over 8.5 and a little bit of luck and we can cash in 2nite!!!

One more thing we have to consider in the Boxing World. If Cotto wins who will he fight next? Pac Man ? nope been there done that no reason for a rematch!!! the only interesting fight for him will be a rematch against Margarito. Now if Mayorga Wins, you have both options Margarito or  Pac Man. Everyone wants to see pac man fight and even if Mayorga doesnt stand a chance against him so what he has never faught Paquiao and if beats Cotto the press will talk enough about it so that Mayorga-Paquiao creates some good interest....

We are on the same page.  Maybe I am looking at this with rose colored glasses but I think Mayorga has a chance and the OVER 8.5 Rounds will be a play for me too.  Nice write up and at 6:1 Mayorga has as good a chance as Cotto who is at ridiculous odds.

Under 8.5 rounds

Mayorga actually came in shape. Cotto fought a smart fight and didn't allow himself to get in a brawl. Mayorga tried everything from holding his hands down low and letting Cotto hit him to even going to the corner by himself and inviting Cotto to come. Now it looks like Margarito and Cotto will rematch
