Here we go again with the Mayweather bashing. This is exactly why he does whatever he wants because he has more haters like this than fans, that come out as soon as his name is mentioned somewhere. Like it or not he is undefeated, and please save yourself the time of typing in the old handpicked opponents shit cause everyone in Boxing does it. Period.

jaime2309: The only problem with Floyd picking so many soft fights to what was out there is the fact he can beat anyone and most fighter can't claim that. You never get to see Floyd at his best until he is tested, and he chooses opponents that it will be another sparring match. You are correct fighters do it, it is their business to make as much money as possible. I give Mayweather credit because getting so many people hating him buy his fights to watch him lose, so he wins either way.
DeHoyos: I seen you post and links to Castillo fight on many threads. Everyone knows a decade ago at Lightweight, Floyd fought Castillo and even though all 3 judges had Floyd on both fights, I realize how you claim Castillo won. In boxing, if don't KO, or hurt or knockdown and opponent you are leaving a risk of subjective opinion. A win by KO is pure objective. Typing in large bold letters doesn't change the words. I feel Mayweather is a punk myself, but I careless about this life! I only care when I bet a fight of his.

I didn't hear or read the claim Mayweather stated on B-Hop being a dirty fighter. Yes Hopkins is not a 3-4 combo puncher, he frustrates opponents by hitting then grab for a clinch. Yes he is dirty, but Mr Christian and has 30+ kids, Evander is dirty a top the leader board. Casamayor is good but another dirty fighter. B-hop is not as bad or blatant as those two. B-hop uses it more to frustrate then to harm, but Evander pushes fighters off with a forearm to the throat, inside fighting he lunges upward with his head. Besides for Tyson taking a piece of both Evander's ears, and Elijah Tillery kicking Bowe (both classics), there is not much some fighters won't do. Nigel Benn rabbit punched McClellan an entire fight causing him coma, paralysis, etc... Benn fell apart with grief. It happens to fighter, even clean by the rules that cause fatal like Sugar Ray Robinson lost a major killer instinct after killing a fighter, Mancini, etc. I know it's a sport you are suppose to take a guy apart, but after you question your occupation and why you took a man's life with 2 daughters now Orphans....

I didn't hear or read the claim Mayweather stated on B-Hop being a dirty fighter. Yes Hopkins is not a 3-4 combo puncher, he frustrates opponents by hitting then grab for a clinch. ZOUK, I understand your point, but here is my point of view. There are only a few fighters that Mayweather has "ducked". First one to me would be Margarito before the hand-wraps, but anyone that knows Boxing knows that Mayweather would have picked him apart much the same way he did to Gatti. Margarito is just not fast enough and his defense, well, he has no defense. Cintron is another guy that everyone claims that Mayweather ducked. Give me a break, Kermit Cintron is a B level fighter at best.  The other fighters that he fought, he made them look bad and that is not Mayweather's fault. Which fighter am I missing? Sergio Martinez? Come on, how can he go up another weightclass when he is a welterweight.

I agree about Sergio, but Floyd has no problem making Marquez fight at Welterweight and we all know he's not close and at his age and the wars, that fight was a joke. Proved one fact we all know, Marquez is maybe the toughest SOB in the excellent fighter range!

The one thing I hate about catchweights, is that everyone has an excuse afterwards. If Mayweather wins, Sergio can say he had to lose a lot of weight to make the fight happen. If Mayweather looses, he can use the excuse in saying he was fighting a bigger man, and he wasnt as comfortable fighting at that heavy weight. Hey, sometimes fights cant be made because they are in different divisions and we would deal with it. All of a sudden, Bob Arum and De La Hoya are making fights at catchweights just to make fights happen that are somewhat boring when one guy gets completely dominated.

Who cares about excuses? If we went by what the fighters thought then Gaypleather would be undefeated, which we all know he's not.....His record is 40-1

DeHoyos: I think you've stated Floyd is 40-1 on every thread several times. Who cares if his record shows undefeated, no one thinks less of Manny and he got beat by Morales and took 2 beatings from Marquez. Morales won, JMM had a draw and a SD loss. Floyd currently is one of the best, and it would be hard to name a fighter that didn't have at least one win or loss that wasn't fair in the public eye. Is it Floyd's fault they gave him the decision...NO! Does Floyd consistently take weak fights and they promote them like it's close... YES! If you want to blame a guy for something, Floyd should go down as one of the most talented fighters ever but refused to take any chances against certain fighters!
Making a catch-weight Floyd only does benefiting him... Sergio has great stamina and he can lose the weight if he wants to but Floyd will never fight him at any weight... He'd fight Manny before Sergio, and again that won't happen.
