I figure a lot of folks aren't shelling out tonight, so I wanted to keep you posted on the progress towards the main event, and some light updates on the undercard.

Through 3 rounds, Bojado looks sharper than I expected after his layoff.  I've got him leading 29-28.

    Good luck all

    My picks...
Bojado -115 in this one 1 unit
    Manny by KO/TKO 2 units
    Manny -285 5 units
    UF moneyline - +250 2 units

Bojado really does have excellent hand speed - the left hand in particular has glimpses of greatness.  The pace has slowed a bit in this one, and it's not a very easy fight to score.

Trying to take my wager out of the equation, but I've got it 48-47 Bojado (3-2) through 5.  Lederman has the same.

Forbes landed about 5 HARD uppercuts in a row to start the 6th.  Bojado hasn't flinched yet, but those are leg sapping punches.  Both these guys have professional skills, no doubt.

Francisco weathered it, and looked solid for the last 2 minutes, but I'll score that one for Forbes.

    Even through 6.

I was beginning to wonder if anyone else was watching tonight.  Not much activity on the board.

7th round is rather slow, but I'll score it for Forbes who scored with several nice stiff jabs.

Lederman scored 7 for Bojado, so he has it 67-66 for him.  Tough fight to score, as it's pretty even and neither guy has been hurt.

Couple of nice combinations 5-6-7 punches from Bojado in the 8th.  Hadn't seen that previously, and it was enough to win that round.  A clear round for Bojado in my opinion, though still close, if that makes sense.

    76-76 - 4 rounds a piece through 8.  Two to go.

I've got it 5-4 Bojado heading to 10.  Last round, but 2 more undercards to go (I think)

    Lederman has it 6-3 Bojado.

I've got it 6-4 Bojado - 96-94.  He's still an impressive cat, and if he could give a professional corner and some favorable matchups, he could still have a good future - hard to believe he's just 24, still.

Split decision win for Forbes - I didn't agree, but it was well within a margin of error and could have been scored that way without great difficulty.

One in the books, 2 to go till the main event.

Next up...Andrade vs Yusef Mack at 168.

The Andrade/Mack fight is pretty good - Andrade went down in the first, but has come back and is winning through 4.  I'm not scoring, as I'm slipping back a little into college football during this fight as I don't have action.  Didn't think it would last long, but now, could be.

One more fight after this one - looking like the 11:30-12:00 window for the Marco/Manny start at this point.

We got us a KO in the 7th - Andrade is the new USBA super middleweight champ - that and 50 cents will get you a local paper most cities.

On to the last undercard matchup  - Steven Luevano vs Antonio Davis.

Stanford's got 4th and 5 from the 5 in the last minute to topple USC.

Wow - Greatest upset in college football history, point spread wise.  That was a 40.5 point line that Stanford just won outright.  Could have 1 and 2 go down tonite.

Luevano has the body of a 13 year old girl, and punches like a mule kick somehow.  Scheduled for 12, but it won't make it.

The lines on the Manny/Marco fight are going to hell if you like the Philipino by the way.  Under is now at 10.5 (-160) with a -365 win bet at this point.

My undercard wrap-up - Bojado can STILL be very good, but something is clearly missing from his camp or worse, his head/heart.  Steve Forbes is a consummate pro, and I wouldn't put my guy in the ring with him if I absolutely didn't have to.

Andrade hits hard, but leads with his face.  Could be trouble.

I like Luevano, but it's the first I've seen him, so I'll reserve judgement.

Moved to champagne now in the last hour before the main event.

Drink up friends, if anyone is even around to watch.

Who's got picks to go on record with?

Through 6, it's a Luevano shut-out.  It's been a professional performance, though he's making some tactical errors clearly, and that's why it's lasted this long.  No way the Marco/Manny fight starts before 11:30, and it's increasingly looking like a 12:00 first round.

Ring doc just looked at the eye cuts on Davis, but inexplicably lets this thing go on.  He's lost every round, and while he may not be in mortal danger, he's got no chance to win and we could have had a mercy stop there.

On the bright side, the referee hasn't had bloodborn pathogen training and just put Luevano's mouthpiece back in his mouth without cleaning it, after it fell to the mat in a pool of Davis' blood.

That's worth at least 5 bucks out of my entertainment budget.

    Good times.

    Bring on Manny.

That's the end of the 10th - it looks like it's going the distance.

Luevano has established himself as a player in this division.  He's the type of guy that I'd definitely pick a fight with in a bar - jeezus, he's like 5'4 and 130 pounds.  And he would hit me with 13 punches before I would be able to fall down.

At 11:25 now, the final undercard is done.  Thanks bunches for all 3 of those going the distance.  I'm ready for the headliner.

That one I scored 119-109 for Luevano.

Unanimous decision for Luevano.  Onto the main event.

I was just checking out the other thread, and saw the you were at the Clemson/VT game Fullbrights.  Jeez, sorry.  Can we do something HORRIBLE to the car/house of the tiger special teams coach?  I'm within driving distance, and am willing to help.

    Last bets in.

    Manny KO/TKO 3 units.
    Manny win - 5 units.

Good day in college football becomes great with the Pacman KO, or I give it all back with a Barrera classic performance here.

Good luck all, 'cept you Marco backers, then horrible luck i guess.

Yeah, we are pitiful.  A team with no identity and a coach who couldn't make an adjustment if his job depended on it (and it does).

Watching the Pac main event national anthems now on streamtv.  War Manny!!!!!

It was those ill-fitting purple unis Fullbrights.  Clemson had no chance in those.

Liked the Phillipines anthem by the way.  She was HOT, song was good.
