Shane trying to pick his shots but still looking very wary. Now starting to retreat. Fighting like a worried man. Better from Mosley, nice shot thuds home. Shane has recovered well from that knockdown in the third. Pacquiao finishes well. His round again.

Round 5: They touch gloves again to start the fifth - very sporting build-up here from both men. Has continued inside the ropes. Mosley trying to play counter-puncher, just waiting for Manny. Clash of heads and Mosley complains. No cuts by the look of it, thankfully. Shane standing his ground more in this session, clearly fully recovered from that knockdown in round 3. Flurry from Manny, doesn't land anything meaningful. Nice left from Manny, right hook scores as well. Not a dominant round but he shades it on workrate and better shots landed.

Round 6: Approaching the halfway stage and Mosley has already exceeded the expectations of some pundits. Manny again on the front foot early in the sixth. Misses with a right and then an uppercut. Pacquiao not dominant, but in control. Manny now raising the pace and stalking Shane. Not sure Mosley can cope when the champion does step up a gear. Right and a left from Pacquiao but a retreating Mosley slips them. Couple of body shots from Shane as Pacquiao covers up. Crowd getting a bit restless. Jab from Manny lands. Nice right hook from Pacquiao, good jab from Mosley. Manny's round again, but only just.
