redlad, you were right. Power was absolutely the difference in this fight. Cotto is a bleeder/sweller, but Foreman couldn't do anything to him. Cotto on the other hand, was busting Foreman up. Good call by walktheline, redlad, and anyone else who nailed this one.

I guess Cotto's NOT washed up despite what all the talking heads tried to tell you. This was the perfect opponent for Cotto, a guy with no punching power who will be in retreat all night. Next match-up might not be so easy.

wow Ref is saying fight isn't over? Does he have a bet on yuri?
Bum deal for Yuri. I thought he was finding his rhythm. Looks like the ref was on the take to me. I think this fight backfired on Arum. I don't think he wanted Cotto to win. I could be wrong. If a scorecard surfaces it'll shed some light on it.

Mcnulty Yuri never had a prayer (no pun intended).. every time he went to the left Cotto was able to time it.
Best thing to happen to him was the leg injury, he fought in the center of the ring and gave the illusion of being a warrior and fans had a good fight for 2 rounds.
Cotto lives to fight another day, and Yuri gains a bit more of a following even with that performance.

Mercante's a terrible Ref. Even exchanges? What fight was he watching? He 's lucky Foreman came out in one piece. Did anyone believe that Foreman could come back and win with no KO power. Ref's seem to want to be the headline story, instead of letting the fighters get the press.
