    james kirkland at 154

if the 37-year-old floyd could elude the 1000 punches of pure evil that james would be throwing on him over the course of 12 rounds then i would say that is the biggest challenge and accomplishment that he could face right now.

all the knowledgeable guys knew that canelo was nothing so i give him no credit whatsoever for that fight as the same with robert guerrero

This is actually a great idea. A stylistic nightmare for Floyd. Thanks.

Nice reply Larry    Floyd would never go against a guy that can actually hit. I still think Ortiz was gonna hurt him that night.

I agree. Ortiz was definitely on the verge of something before the short circuiting of his brain.

floyd is going nowhere near golovkin and nobody should blame him as he is two weight classes below him

mayweather understands boxing and knows that its hard to beat guys that are capable of throwing 1000 punches a fight when he himself is only able to throw half that amount.

thats one of the reasons he never fought a prime paq(cotto, clottey, margo).

floyd has now managed to duck two number one consensus (margo and then paq) fighters in the ww division

and now hes going to fight the wrecking machine gennady?

floyd would get murdered at 160 and he would probably lose to kirkland at 154(statistically).

floyd is going nowhere near golovkin and nobody should blame him as he is two weight classes below him

So he'll take on Amir Khan, a fighter who has no right to fight for a belt. Personally, I have no interest in a Pac fight anymore. Kirkland and /or  Golovkin would knock his behind out. Even a master defensive fighter would get caught from the amount of volume those guys would bring.

I don't feel a Golovkin or Kirkland fight is even fair. I don't care how good Floyd is, those two are just way too big, and they are very active, not to mention skilled. Kirkland seems like a more realistical match-up for Floyd, but he in fact is probably not a fair match.

I think your probably correct but the outcome would be in doubt. maidana would be relentless.. Could fm hurt him? That would be the question. like to see that fight at this point. at least there would be some interest..

If I had my druthers I would like Pacquiao, but if not. then Maidana. Only cause I like his character. He really surprised me in the Broner fight with his range. I don't think he has enough to beat Floyd, but I like him enough to feel good that he got paid a good purse for fighting Floyd.

Maidana would come to fight no doubt. Broner actually hurt him few times and he didn't fade. I questioned his chin cause I thought lopez hurt him also before he knocked him out. FM would not knock him out and would be pressed to keep him off. Like to C it.

That's precisely the point zag.. cause you're opinion SHOULD matter.. and it should bother the f*ck out of you that it doesn't. Cause Mayweather counts on YOUR dollars to pay HIS bills. Fact is, he COUILDN'T care less about you, or me. Or what I (or you) want, and that is for him to fight Manny. More than Maidana, More than Kahn. More than anyone else perhaps.

But thanks for responding.. and GL.

So next time Mr. Money May deadpans the camera at his next promotional stop let's say, and says something along the lines of "I'd like to thank the fans for their suppurt....yada yada"  think of how much you've given to him, and how little he's given to you..

After all; It's only one fight. Against one man. A smaller man. Conceivably a winnable fight. For upwards of $80,000,000!!!!

$80,000,000!!!!!!  We're not asking his to cure cancer here, just put all your butthurt aside against Bob, or Tom or person or Harry, or whoever the f*ck ever and fight the little guy from the Phillipines.

I mean seriously, if you look at the situation correctly then you all should see how rediculous it actually is.

Sugar Ray Leonard fought Marvin Hagler. He didn't have to. Everyone thought he was canon fodder for Marvelous.

    He won. In amazing fashion.

The rest is Hall of Fame history.
