Walktheline you know absolutely nothing about boxing if you believe Taylor wins this fight. Have you ever boxed? I have (not as a pro mind you). I won a national bronze medal as an amatuer so I could box at a decent level.
 
I gave up boxing when in my last fight, when I never trained as hard in my life as I did for that last fight. I fought a guy that domainated me over 4 rounds 17 months previous. I didn't train hard for the first fight so I put it down to that.
 
I felt great going in but this time I as away from home. As soon as the bell rang I got caught with a great hook to the body. Here we go again. And I lost.I was mentally shot and my arms felt so heavy the whole time. Closer fight in the end, but I still lost. I knew then I would never make it as a boxer. Hang up the gloves Mack and I did.
 
What's your point I hear you say. Now I am not comparing myself to Taylor. My point is that the mental aspect of boxing is just as important as the physical part. Taylor is a mentally shot fighter. No if but or questuion about that. He does not have the desire or mental toughness to win a fight in Germany. I know a mentally shot fighter when I see one. He may feel good going in but that will end as soon as he hits the ring. I guarentee you.
 
If you watch the build up to the Taylor v Froch fight both Dibella and Taylor repeat again and again that this is his last chance and that he has to take it. And yes he fought a great fight but he still managed to lose in his home crowd with a huge lead on the cards. That was supposedly his last chance. If you lost what you believed was your last chance tell me how you can win again when your given another chance? How many more chances does this idiot want? 1,2,3,4,5? I question putting a guy like Taylor in this tournament. I wishh we had Lucian Bute instead.
 
Again, you want to back this idiot who messed up "his last chance" against a undefeated fighter, who is probably Germany's top three superstar (if not number 1) and adored there. The super 6 to Germany is as big as the superbowl in the States. Its all they have been talking about over there. Do you think Taylor can knock out a guy that tough?Seriously?. Do you honestly believe even if Taylor fights an incredible fight that he will get a decision against a guy like AA in Germany?Seriously? In GERMANY! why don't you smell the sh!t your shoveling.
 
As Pacman proved against Hatton and Oscar, size aint everything. Now AA is no pacman but if you basing your argument on size then thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard! Believe it or not walktheline smaller fighters have beaten bigger fighers before. On the night they will weigh the exact same so your agrument is on what? A height difference? If thats the case how has Valuev ever lost a fight!?
 
Btw Miranda became shot AFTER his lose to Abraham. Pavlik wanted nothing to do with this guy what does that tell you?
 
People like you want to back Taylor for all the wrong reasons. Dogs will win in this touranment but you are smoking something if you think Taylor wins this fight with these kind of odds stacked against him. If he rolled back the years, won every round in style he would not decision AA in Germany.
 
Ignore history lessons if you must but its by learning from past fights and past mistakes that we learn to make the correct judgement going forward. At least those of us that are intelligent do..

Froch by decision was a nice call. I got +250 on that and for NOWHERE near the amount you purport to throw around. I'm not sure if you did in fact call that anywhere as I don't have the patience to wade through the blather, but if you did, good job. In no way was I tailing however.

As far as AA goes, he was a heavy favorite and he won. Good job, I guess. Several guys were on Taylor and you were strongly on the other side. Congrats, but in no way is that overwhelming or the stuff of legends.

You are truly a expert on boxing and I understand your confidence, people with out it just don't get it.

Cmon guys, Mack is a genius...

I mean, he had Abraham over Taylor, what a tough pick that was!  He had Vitali to KO Arreola.  Another toughie, what were the odds on that, -400 inside distance?  Vitali has KO'd all but 1 opponent in his career. 

He thought Froch-Dirrell would go to the cards.  Hell, even my grandmother thought that would happen and she doesnt even watch boxing.

Now he tells us Andre Ward and Miguel Cotto, great fighters that they are, are 'live' dogs.  C'mon guys, you cant find this type of expertise anywhere else!!

You two can not gamble for a living, because if the two of you all did, it would be obvious and easy to appreciate Mack picks...

Gambling for a living is Very Mental, and picking the right favorites is the key to winning in the long run.  not all favorites win.
To pick a favorite with conviction and then lay a lot of money on them is not as easy as the two of you all make it seem. And to do that on a consistent basis is harder.

There are a lot of traps and mental blocks that will hang most gamblers up... To keep a clear head while making a living at this is one of the biggest challenges.

Ego is a major factor that will make a lot of gamblers go under.
Poor Bankroll management will make a lot of gamblers go under also..
Picking the wrong favorites or underdogs will make a lot of gamblers go under.

The ability mack displays is his strenght to see the obvious with a clear head, and some people want to come on here and call that easy to do. Believe me it is a skill set that you two have not acquired yet, because if so Yall two would be able to see that skill set in mack.

And that is the Difference between a amatuer and a Pro.

I don't know mack and I once bashed him also, but his logic behind picking a winner is what is key, not the pick it self. He also Knows when not to pick a favorite, another skill set you must acquire in order to become a good pro at this.

Respect the forum and don't bash to just bash, Mack is a great boxing capper.

You have a few options, ignore (but then you're really not part of the forum?)  you will be letting others dictate.. what you say and reply to.

Think about it Mack, can you or I ever be silenced? LOL!

The only way to fix this is.. to tone it down a BIT AFTER the WIN, anyone who discredits you because it's a favorite is wrong, favorites often lose.

Your only problem is if the others don't join your pick, and I know you're trying to HELP and make people money... but when they DON'T join your pick, you rub it in their faces.

I personally don't have a problem with you, I love having good boxing conversation with you and even when we disagree we still get along.

Maybe put a disclaimer/ signature.. on your post..that you bet for a LIVING, remember some people only bet for action and bet a few bucks.

It will make it much easier for people to understand why you are so intense on your picks and the way you write, you have a lot riding on it.

Some will hate you just because you win, some will hate you because you won and they lost.

Look into the the signature/disclaimer thing.. it will help you not get slack and people can understand you better.

Good God, this guy bets "for a living"?  Unless he's a bookmaker with juice coming in he will drown in due time.  The books arent in business to lose $.  In the end, they always get back.  I actually for sorry for this guy now that gambling is his "job".
