Ill still be on berto somehow tomorrow. I am more pissed i have 2 accounts and I killed my $2000 on and won $1600 in the other. So i still can have a winning week in total sports.

    CEE your doggy just hit

    Ramirez stuns Alekseev!

Underdog claims WBO interim cruiser belt

    By Wolfgang Schiffbauer at ringside

In the first huge shocker of 2009, highly touted cruiserweight hope Alexander Alekseev was stopped by unknown Argentinian Victor Emilio Ramirez after nine hard-fought rounds for the WBO interim cruiserweight title. Alekseev started well, keeping the distance and outboxing Ramirez in the first couple rounds. The Argentinian, however, managed to get some hard shots in at times while marching forward with bulldog-like aggression. The tide turned in the sixth when Alekseev got caught by some big bodyshots and was wobbled. The Russian came back in the seventh with a body shot himself that stunned Ramirez. Afterwards, it was the Argentinian who bullrushed Alekseev around the ring and connected with hard shots in the eight before wobbling the Spotlight fighter around the ring in the ninth, scoring with huge shots that had Alekseev out of his feet. The Russian was not able to get the momentum back and was almost down at the end of the round, eating punches in bunches. After the ninth, the corner of the Russian decided it was enough and threw in the towel, making it a tenth round TKO victory for the underog Victor Emilio “El Tyson del Abasto” Ramirez. Suffering his first career loss, Alekseev falls to 16-1. Scoring the big upset, Ramirez moves to 14-1 with 12 K.o.’s, capturing the WBO interim belt.

Hope you played it Cee.  Wow.

Talk about a weekend full of upsets guys.  I thought about it thinking that Ramirez may catch Alexseev early.  Based on Ramirez body builder build though I thought if it went more than 2 or 3 he would fatigue and get taken out.

Thats why i liked him. So i am going to let the forum vote. Can I count the win on my ytd. I like to keep a real record for myself.

    Obivously me posting this

    Victor Emilo Ramirez......+950---Dog chance

and me being down about 1400 would mean i would take that chance. Seems like you all figured I did. I just do not wanna seem shady............Cee is not shady

Since I had that nice come up this morning, I have some bullets for tonight....I originally had $500 on berto and I am going to do it again.

Berto itd -risking 5.00 units to win 8.95...

This was going to be my first big play of the year. No upset here. I just feel it is berto's time to shine. Obviously this match was made with him as a come out party. Collazo does not have the power or the slickness to stop berto from throwing punches. I am not quite 100% sure but i do not think collazo is defensive fighter. Berto is faster than mosely and hatton by far and hits harder. Remember stevie forbes has an iron chin and does not get hit to often and is a slick counter puncher. Collazo is neither. IN fact I think i would take Forbes over Collazo anyday.

Fight wont start round 5 -risking 1.24 to win 10 units
Fight wont go round 7 1:30 -risking 2.50 to win 1110 units
fight won got round 10 1:30 risking 2.5 to win 5.32 units
Berto wins only risking 8.0 units to win 1.78 units

And thats all folks. Yes I am willing to lose about 20 units this fight. Thats how certian i am. Berto is definatly going to win no doubt. I think he ko's early....

Let it rip Cee.  Agree that Forbes is a much harder guy to hit than Collazo.  He's got a pretty good defensive skill set, however I just can't see him being able to keep Berto away as the rounds go on.

The nice part about these bets is that if berto gets ko early then I am still a winner. This is the cosme rivera factor. I know cosme has good power unlike collazo but still you never know if berto has a chin or not. He did run into that shot and left himself wide open like a dumb  fuck messing around. He was hurt but not out and could of lucked out the round was over. He recovered decently the next round. The fact he knocked down Estada is good since collazo has less of a chin. Plus he is justs a pumped tempered fight.......

Man i hope i am right

i know he is conservative and has good defense, but he has been prone to 1st round ko's and that edwin cassani bout i watched on showbox many moons ago still shines in my head. Berto has been my favorite prospect for a while now, second being Gamboa, and third a tie between Ortiz and Cloud. (Since Juama is no longer a prospect.

    4-11 (-13.88 units)

Well i was swinging for the fence on this one. I am not mad or dissapointed. Berto had plenty of chance to end the fight, why it did not end i do not know. This fight seemed like it would end at any minute but it could'nt. No complaints here.
