Escalante.Roman is the main event on Friday Night Fights.

Guess the fought when they were kids...childhood rivalry!

I ain't gonne lie...Mickey was getting smoked in the early part of the round...but came on real strong late and has Escalante stunned by the end of it. Good round. I think the judges scored for Escalante though.

Escalante is much busier but Roman lands the big right hand left hook which looks more damaging. Escalante has got round three imb. Roman s hurting him but his frequency is too low.

Inside war, Roman drives him into the corner, Esc boxs out and puts it back in the middle. Roman lands some good shots, but getting out hustled. Esc lands a nice right, Roman comes back with two. Its an inside fight all the way now. These guys ain't playin. Someone just needs to get hurt already. Esc looks good, but not sure how many rounds he can handle at this pace. Hard round to score.

Escalante still has some fight in him. I think this round, despite being a good round for Escalante, is going to hurt him because of how much energy he's expending. He has landed some nice combo's.

Hard to say...I don't agree with Atlas' scorecard, I know that much. I think the judges may have Escalante up, but I have it close. Looks like round 6 is paying off for Escalante in round 7...Roman is slowing down and Escalante is coming on strong and landing a lot of shots. Roman comes on a bit at the end of the round. Last two rounds were Esc imo.
