Adamek/Grant

Kimbo might stand a chance in an MMA fight because Tony has no idea how to grapple. In a boxing match?= No Shot ....even IF Tony is brain damaged. I'm hardly an expert on MMA, but Tony going against Couture in MMA, seems quite absurd to me.

I am surprised that u guys don't give Adamek much credit.
It's not his fault that the division is terrible.  He is deff. top 5 right now
and i do think that he has a good chance against D.H.
I also feel that if Dawson would move up and fight Adamek.
Adamek would knock him out.

Nothing to be ashamed of in your pick as Grant's size really did bother Adamek. I thought the scores were a little too lop-sided as well. Adamek showed that he doesn't have the power of a true Heavy & can get shook up too easily by the big guys as well. I wouldn't rush into a fight for the title if I were him.

I coverd it with not Adamek ITD at +194 (posted on another board) so I'm not too sad. Adamek earned no better than a draw in this fight, but the scoring was in the bag with the fight being in NJ and 15k Poles in the place.

Almost knocked out in the 12th, buckled at the end of the 6th, didn't throw a punch in round 8, outboxed clearly in round 1, etc. That's four rounds right there. Anything else that was close was going Adamek's way. That happens, ask Juan Diaz and Joan Guzman.

Adamek was like -2000 earlier today on my end.

That's batshit. The insane line move was why I decided to over my Grant bet. I assumed he was going to take a fall or not do anything at all.

Adamek was much much busier and better then Grant.  U say he got rocked in round ....whatever.  did u see him against Cunningham?  he was losing most of the rounds but kept on knocking the guy out. 

This was an easy fight and clear win for him.

Easy fight? Really? He was saved by the bell at the end of the 6th and almost knocked out in the 12th. He was cut over both eyes and didn't hurt Grant at all. He had no answer for a mediocre jab.

He's always game but he's in over his head at this weight.

I think you guys are both sort of right
I had it 9 to 3 Adamek
but I thought Grant REALLY hurt him in rnd 6 and 12
I thought the Pole won on points easily, but I also think Grant was never close to being stopped (something I thought was a guarantee)

btw Ahmed Oner called Adameks camp today with offer to fight Solis-  will keep u guys posted

Grant's chin is susceptible, against mule punchers like Lennox Lewis and Jameel McCline.  Against a blown up light heavy/cruiser, his chin is more than fine.

Grant can still continue fighting in this horrible division as long as he's steered clear of the big-time punchers.

I watched the fight twice scored it the same way 8-4 for Adamek.

Grant hurt him a few times, but gave Adamek too much respect.

Adamek's problem is he isn't a big puncher, and his balance seems to be off.. was the same in the Arreola fight he won but many times off balance.

Many times I felt Grant wanted to pull the trigger and didn't/couldn't, (his balance was off too).

I think many can agree the Michael Grant before Lennox Lewis KO'd him would have KO'd Adamek.

I cannot see a case for Adamek versus either Klitcho yet, it's either Haye or Povetkin both good match ups. I think fans would want to see Haye as he poses a bigger risk for Adamek but Povetkin could be right behind him.

Grant was fixed imo. A man that abondons a weapon that works has a different agenda.
